Re: In the end, who are sprint runs up to?

You probably need to be in the circle of trust before asking. But they do unique collaborations like this. This was not through a typical online knife store. Danke, I wouldn't say that we have a circle of trust. If we do, it's the trust that our customers (you) give us. The Abel Reels Exclusive was...

You can't always get what you want. But did you know you can easily get a non-painted Delica clip?

Re: Delaware knife laws and Spyderco tenacious 3.39

https://www.akti.org/state-knife-laws/ 3 inches seems to be the law, but if you are camping I see little concern over carrying a Tenacious. Just mind you business with it and odds are very small you'll have an issue. There are lots of sub 3" Spydecros that will work as well if you want to be mindful...

Re: Exclusive Questions for Sal, Kristy, or Michael Janich

Doing blade shapes as dealer exclusives seems like a bad choice for the consumer and Spyderco. Especially on a wharncliffe which has proven very popular for Spyderco lately.

#putaswedgeonit

I'll pass as PM 2 models get little pocket time from me. A Para 3 lightweight would have me for sure.

Re: Why are so many people concerned with perfect blade centering?

I never expect perfection from my production knives. They are tools. If its a bit off center, I will never be upset and won't notice it when I use the knife. The obsession is likely promoted by those with OCD, and youtube reviewers who are "knife experts", but suspiciously have reference knives that...

Re: Shaman Z-Wear Sprint - General Discussion & Support thread - (not alerts)

Sal has indicated larger sprint run sizes but, it would be nice to have an idea of how many z-wear shamans are being made. Having struck out repeatedly despite email notifications at 10 vendors and being subscribed to the other thread, I have to say this is just plain not fun.

I'd have bought a qball if it was caged. I find uncaged BBLs too awkward to operate.

Hey all, wanted to bump this thread once again. Anybody have experiences with aftermarket scales on the frn chap - or is the frn too thin?

It's almost certainly too thin.

Re: Z-cut bread knife please

Kitchen knives are not Spyderco’s forte (not sure about that Carter collab, maybe those have reasonable blade geometry), so I would tend to look elsewhere. Mac superior line has an excellent bread knife. I've been pleased with my Spydies in the kitchen and I think with their superior serrations a S...

Re: Why did you join?

Hi All, I guess I've been doing the forum thing for a couple of decades now. While I've seen many come and go as the hobby / intgerest is not for everyone, I have seen a number of folks hang in for years as we discussed things not often discussed in forums about designs, steel, performance, etc. I ...

Looks more like how to ruin a perfectly good knife. Sorry. Buy a sharpmaker.
