Re: Your "return ethics"?

I return if there's a legit issue on an unused knife. I'm currently sitting on a small pile I need to sell that I received and just didn't love for some reason. I don't return for buyers remorse. I generally know in seconds if the knife is going to be a keeper. Unfortunately I have almost no physic...

Re: Insistent First Impressions

Ouch, that should probably be a 2nd. The lack of stand-offs means its probably off my want list. Gonna be too heavy for me.

Any chance you could do some side by side shots with a few more common models?

I think that's already the Dragonfly.
DF has leaf shaped blade & backlock. That's rather a shrunk N5.
The Lil' Native is a shrunk N5.

Have to agree, the D'fly is a definitely not a shrunk Native. Not even close.

Re: Sal, can we please have an orange P4 LW?

It seems likely that there are more colors coming our way as this is an undeniably popular model and Spyderco will sell more if they make more options.

Re: Bento Box Customer Service...

I hit them up for an exchange and it turns out they don’t do returns or exchanges at all (my bad for not reading their terms ); It's four pages of whining, repetitive backslapping, and unrelated dogpiling because a guy doesn't read the terms. He says they don't have customer service, in fact he's j...

Re: I wonder if you guys would be interested in a Lil' Para3

I'd have to see one to decide if it could out compete a D'fly. The P3 LW has been winning against the Delica for my pocket time and I never would have thought that was possible. Looking at the P3 cockpit, I think it could be chopped to fit a small blade and still make a 3 finger grip work. Blade sto...

Re: New Steel – Crucible S45VN

Good read as always. As an incremental improvement over the current series, I am curious if cost is similar. I'd guess the average user will be hard pressed to see any difference in use. If the cost is similar I would say the corrosion resistance might make the 45 more desirable than the previous 2,...

I wore my Forum Spyder Pendant that displays my username during last years sale. I saw a few others wearing theirs, I'll have mine on again this year.

Re: 2019 seconds sale

Thanks for clarifying Taz. Hopefully it's a great event free of hoarders and line cutters.

We should have name tags for forumites. I've met a couple people, but I'm sure there are a number of us in the room at the same time.

Re: Knife floats

Why not just rig a tether to the boat on an S Biner or something similar? Enough that you could use it freely, move it around, but always have it secured either to yourself or the boat.

Re: 2019 seconds sale

It might be nice if there were signs outside along the sidewalk stating "No holding spaces for or joining parties already in the line. People abusing this policy will be barred from the sale." Too bad there are so many asses in the world. You'd basically need an employee outside to police this, but ...

Re: Really Spyderco ... 5.2 oz for the Emphasis ?!

I questioned Eric about the weight at Blade show and he said it was basically targeting people that liked a more robust feeling knife. While I'm anti-pocket bricks, there are weirdos that like a heavy knife and think weight equals quality. I took the spacer out on my efficient, it's dead weight. I'l...
