awwww

BB I'm flattered that anyone could take me serious enough to actually swallow a concoction I contrived. The sauces you mention are too thin, vinegary,(that a word?) and light years away from ElYucatico's fine flavor.
However I hope the result was familiar to the "gennywine" article. I should mention ...

The ol' brown rascal

Rastus, the brown xtra hot is the kut bil ik-de I mentioned earlier. Try:
1c. catsup, ketchup, that red stuff
1/2 honey
juice of 1 lime
1 Tbsp chili powder or chipotle powder
1 Tbsp ElYucatico red or green(1 tsp if using the brown!)
2 Tbsp sweet orange marmalade
Mix all the above in a small saucepan ...

hotter'n haell!

Joe I agree. The extract sauces have the heat but lack the flavor. Dave's Insanity and others of that ilk are great for "hottening up" other sauces and dishes that need a little heat but can carry their own flavor. Recently we started carrying Red Gold brand salsa in this area. It has the freshest ...

foul curry?

Yeah the red savinas....Very hard to come by hereabouts. If I could just eat a pepper that would be the one. Luv 'em even if I have to lie down a spell after eating one...Till the room stops spinning.
I forgot to mention I'm a dedicated curryholic as well. At the http://www.curryholic.com website I ...

jalapenos on cornflakes?

I'm a fan of fiery cusines. Hands down I'd say the best production hot sauce going is ElYucateco. Thick, pastey, and fiery it's simply one of the best for tx-mex or spiceing up a mainstream burger or pizza. Their mayan recipe habanero based sauce called "kut bil ik-de" is akin to muching a meteorite ...

I've yet to acquire any new spydies. I'm almost afraid to. If I get a new spydie you'll get a new spydie. There will be anarchy, rioting in the streets...
But ya know it's gonna happen....

b****made forum

IMHO this is the ONLY forum worth a modicum of attention. The folk are sincere, friendly, helpful and spydie loyal to a fault. Other forums of those other knife people can, at best, be filled with confused collectors or at worst nefarious Philestines.
These spydie forums are populated, nay ...

new toy

Happy fourth and it's almost appropriate that I received, lately from Iraq, a Benchmade AFO 5000. It's slightly used and a gift from a returning relative
working security in Kuwait. He gave me a "Thought ya might like this", and a
"Only get me in trouble."
I really have no use for it but I ...

Abologne?

I see today, that Case has released that new series of slimline, thumbstud, singleblade lockbacks...
Reflecting back on rougher, coarser times, this would have been quite the
occasion for your's truely. Naturally I'd have had to own them all or at least a spectacular one. They're all pricey, $300 ...

What about the senior?

I believe the junior. It has grey frn handles. I saw it as a "buy it now", a few weeks ago for $35.00, and I let it slip through my well-nicked digits. Prolly just as well. Might surprise myself with one on my b'day or Christmas.
Did I mention the Lil Temperance, Khalsa, tan frn endura, blue frn ...

Chances are folks may have noticed, but in case not, you can now purchase a meerkat, using the "buy it now" option for a meer,(luv that),$19.00. This is through the ebay dealer fruitbat. I got my knife in a startling three days!
At this price I'm gonna grab a couple more as they're sure to make ...

CLP(cute lil pandas)

Great thread!
Does anyone know the factory's lube? I'm asking cause oil+wd40=paste. After opening #6000 the action on my lil meerkat started getting a bit "draggy" at the 90% position. My first impulse was to grab the 40 but I lube all my firearms with Breakfree. I figger mebbe a 5min boil, then a ...

Husky set

Thx for the tip. I'll do just that as complete storage will make things a bit better for the tool box.
I was in a hurry at Home Depot but I did notice what appeared to be similar micro driver sets in flat/phillips, and micro nut driver sets. I'll peruse those tools when I have more time. More ...

Many thanks to all and sundry! I just picked up Husky 74502 at Home Depot. Switching the clip around took a hot five minutes and now a great lil knife has moved up to awesome! Kudos to all! :spyder:
