Re: Spyderco Custom Shop
SE is also going to be a no go for small makers...
Anyone can make serrated knives. You just buy a grinding wheel for it.
I don’t get this custom shop thing that always pops up. Are you going to pony up $2k for a knife? I can’t see how Spyderco would entertain this otherwise.
There are ...

Re: Spyderco Custom Shop
Are there no Japanese makers working with H2?
H1 is basically extinct as far as I recall. SE is also going to be a no go for small makers...
Yeah, I don't see this happening unless Spyderco just decides to make a large SE H2 blade.

Re: Please, help me track a Schempp Bowie
The Gun Crew has one listed for $250 and has a legit brick and mortar in TN (per google streetview)...I don't know if they ship internationally but you can call them.
Good luck.

My first question is how we recovered all scale and clip screws but the pivot bushing eluded us...

I wish they were steel, but don't see a problem here. I like the idea, though somewhat skeptical about TI screws from AliExpress...

This is terrible news! Paul is such a source of light; I have full faith that he will grow from this absolute trash situation. Community & family are front and center, Paul I wish you nothing but the utmost favor.

Hey Jim,
They are called Reel Mowers, after looking them up, you can find many great options from brands you probably are and are not familiar with and I look forward to hearing what model you settle on.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
To be fully honest, I'm not sure that I'm going to keep it around. It's beautifully well done, but doesn't do much that the Junction can't, and is much more niche/impractical. I can't love the sheath, and if I were going to carry it often, a replacement would definitely be necessary. A snug fit ...

I still have never even held a DF2, I'm thinking K390 but could be persuaded otherwise. Would y'all recommend Leaf, Wharnie or Other (shape/steel)...I'm leaning towards the K390 Wharnie.
Edit: Patience be damned. I went with the K390 Wharnie. Looking forward to it and the Nightstick's arrival ...

Re: EDC Excellence: A Spyderco Ikuchi Review
I don't know how I just came across this thread. Great write-up Zulu! The Ikuchi is one of the most underrated designs ever put out by Spyderco and Paul Alexander is a genius full-stop. If you don't have one, you need one and if you don't get it, you need to study harder.

It's just my opinion, but Carbon Fiber and S90V is a very special combination.
