Re: Spyderco Rebrand Concept

I am gonna be the odd man out. I haven’t really shared this but I don’t love Spyderco’s logo much. I live in the heart of Lyme disease country. I know more people who have had Lyme around here than who haven’t. If you spend time in the woods, and i spend a lot of time in the woods, you hate ticks. T...

Re: Mule Team Survey

1) Did you purchase a Mule Team knife in the past? I have purchased 8 different Mules. 2) Did you put a handle on it? I have made two handles and purchased one set from Halpern. 3) Did you make or buy a sheath? I had a Kydex sheath made and also bought a leather one from Spyderco. 4) Did you test th...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???

Massdrop/Laconico Keen. What an amazing knife! https://i.imgur.com/qpK86mM.jpg Except for the flipper in the way, I love the absolute clean lines and looks of that knife. The blade is perfect. The flipper is small and doesn’t bother me. I am not a flipper fan but this one is well executed. Perfect ...

Re: Trusted knife trading services?

Trades are risky by nature. I just sell a knife and then buy one, always using PP G&S. You have to pay fees but if anything goes wrong you have protection.

Re: Recommend TV Shows to binge watch while you Shelter-in-Place

By episode three you have a good grasp of just how crazy they all are. They are basically all cult leaders and psychopaths.

I think you could make another entire series about that doctor guy and his cult/harem.

BTW, she totally did it!

Re: Constructive COVID-19 activities....learn some new skills

This is going to sound harsh but, I am the only one who is not going to get a vacation out of this? I wish I had some free time to catch up on chores/projects! I NEED a week off but that ain’t gonna happen. We haven't slowed down a bit. No vacation for me either. :p ;) C7832F62-3D76-4B99-839C-0522A...

I like a finish around 600-800 on my folders and outdoor knives. Sometimes as low as 1200.

Kitchen knives will often get a much finer edge.

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

Thanks. I nabbed the 3.5 SB for a ridiculously reasonable price and CIB to boot. I've been looking for one at a price low enough to justify using it hard. So excited to have one again, I've missed it. Hate to break it to ya bud, but Superblue is terrible if looking for hard use. I used my Caly Jr a...
