I’ve watched a couple of videos where this mod is done, but for the life of me, I can’t remember why you have to remove and replace the factory pivot instead of just re-using it. Can someone remind me?

Travis, I think your regrind talents, shown here and in other threads, are topnotch.

I should leave it there, but I gotta say that this effort, to my eye, has obliterated the knife's original aesthetics.

Wow. He comes off as a genuinely good person. Sadly, his business philosophy hads been discarded by too many companys today. Hopefully they'll learn the errors of their ways before its too late. Long live American business!!

I really really like my Sage 1. Its a great knife and very smooth. Excellent size too!

I know they're over your budget, but I've got to recommend the Domino or Southard. I have a Delica ZD 189, a Sage 1 and a Para 2 also, but the two flippers I simply cannot keep out of my hands. Of the other three, I would definitely pick the Sage 1. Like The Deacon, I prefer it to the Sage 2.

Ordered mine on 1-17 and recieved it today. Very neat catalog and price list.

Boy, from looking at this picture, I can't imagine it would ...

What are the things to look at/lookout for in spotting fakes? Any genreal rules or pictures to reference? Southards, Para 2s, Dominos etc.

I received the Brown Delica 4, the Delica 4 189 and the Sage 1 today. Very excited. A little surpised at the sizes. The Delicas are a little bigger than I expected and the Sage was a little smaller. Pleasently surprised in both cases! I'm hooked, I'm afraid.

Well, I just ordered a black Para 2. This better do me for a while!

One more guys. I'm gonna order one more. I 'm in position now to have a larger more heavy use knife. Para 2 or ZT 0566? This is really a tough one. Or, any other suggestions? Its got to be in the $150 +- range.
