Personally (apologies in advance), I think it's an ill-conceived concept on so many levels. From effective use to legality to the marketing as a tactical tool for police officers. YMMV but that's just me. :o

Does the Ulize have Phosphor Bronze washers?

I assume it has the same paper thin bronze washers as the Police III, which works fine for me, but I've been surprised before....

As for the steel, I prefer stainless blades for a folder. My 3V Bark River rusted quickly when exposed to water and humidity if it wasn't constantly oiled. Oiling a folder just attracts lint and dust and other crap that I don't want in a pivot ...

I've dulled most of my shiny silver pocket clips with 1500 or 600 grit sandpaper to get the reflective shine off. I even match the direction of sanding to the machine marks left on the blade, and it matches the finish very well.

Tim Zowada please! Spyderco doesn't make many straight shaped tacticool knives.

Given the growing counterfeit problem, perhaps Forum members should make it a habit to subject their eBay prospects to the Forum's informed scrutiny, even at risk of alerting all to a good deal,

...Or just stop buying "too good to be true" knife deals on ebay.

Is there any way to dull the shiny finish on the glossy black Spyderco pocket clips? I'm not worried about being tacticool, but the glossy pocket clip looks lame with the dull DLC finish or G10 handles.

Any chance Spyderco could do a run of matte black pocket clips for a Delica/Endura/Para2/Yojimbo ...

I think it looks awesome.

I would coat it with vegetable oil so it doesn't pit, and keep using it.

You'll love the Lava, it's the greatest "little big knife" I've ever handled. It's also legal just about everywhere (I believe that Washington DC has a 2" blade limit).

The Lava is also as good as it gets ...

Is the manix 2 hollow or full flat ground?

In pictures, it looks like the plain edge version is flat ground, and the partially serrated version is hollow?

I've been very happy with my S35VN, but it is in customs and at 60-61. Thin edges, no chipping and good edge holding . I wouldn't mind it in a folder from Spyderco, but I passed on the PM2 since I had a few others.

What if the Yojimbo 2 was re-released as a general use knife that just so happened to be good for self defense.
