Re: He-Man Military Lover's Club - Enlist Here

I had been meaning to post a family portrait. Love the Military. The knife I grab when I just need a knife for whatever and am not concerned about alarming anyone. https://i.imgur.com/OpSXVL5.jpg Great family photo. Very nice patina on the 52100. A D2 Millie has eluded me for some reason. In theory...

Re: What will you be getting from the new reveal?

I'm in for a K390 model (Straight Spine Stretch preferably, and failing that, either the Endela or the Delica). Does anyone know if the SSS is under consideration for K390? And also the SPY27 Mule, for sure. I like the Swayback and the Yojumbo, but don't have the budget for either. And I've already ...

Re: Russian aftermarket scales?

I recently got a set of TeroTuff Scales from Fireside and they are fantastic. Love the feel! They went together great with my Cruwear PM2. Pretty much dream knife for me, and I like the similar feel to the micarta on my CruCarta Shaman. https://i.imgur.com/7gEbXk3.jpg https://i.imgur.com/4B6dS70.jpg...

Re: He-Man Military Lover's Club - Enlist Here

Those of you with the 52100 steel, how are those holding up? Did it meet your expectations? Mine is great, one of my top 2-3 Militaries. It patinas wonderfully, takes a very keen edge quickly, and is generally just a joy to use. The CF also makes it my lightest, and therefore most nimble Military. ...

Re: Mule Team Survey

1) Did you purchase a Mule Team knife in the past? Yes, I've purchased 4 (K390, S110V, 4V, PD#1), and sold the S110V. 2) Did you put a handle on it? Yes, purchased scales from Halpern Titanium. 3) Did you make or buy a sheath? Bought 1 and made 2. All Kydex sheaths that I carry iwb. 4) Did you test ...

Really nice review.
I too greatly enjoy the Mantra, and think of it as an upgraded, flipping Delica. Which is all goodness in my book.

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

Hoping I can hold off on the CF Delica in HAP40... But that's a great price.

Can anyone comment on the weight / feel of the CF version relative to the G10 Delica? This looks like the smooth type of CF (a la the Caly) compared to the textured type on the Bradleys and the Golden CF models. Accurate?

Sorta ebay coupon... Text treat to 70799 for a coupon good for $5 off of $50 (which is good until 2/7).
However, this means you agree to auto dialer messages to your phone, which was too much for me, so I declined. But others maybe interested.

Re: Cru-wear Delica

I noticed that my Cruwear Delica is developing a patina quite a bit faster than any of my Golden Cruwear models are. Under basically the same conditions and care. I wonder if the heat treat protocol is is slightly different between Seki and Golden? Anyone else notice this? Yep, mine is my first Cru...

Re: My struggle with the Native

I don’t hate the Native. I like the Delica far better. I think the Native would be a stellar knife if the choil were lost, grip lengthened as a result, an the cutting edge lengthened. This is exactly how I felt about the Native, and why I finally sold my two last year. I liked the overall size and ...

Mine arrived yesterday. Really digging it. Scales are beautiful, and while not as grippy as micarta, provide plenty of grip.

LC - Beautiful work. I especially like the wharnies - the finger choil looks Street Beat (ish), which I dig. I appreciate the clean lines, and your kydez looks great!

I'm going to be following this thread.

This thread made pull out my Caly 3 HAP40 and put it in my pocket today. Love how smoooooth the action is. :)
Similarly, this thread caused me to carry my Super Blue Caly 3 today. Insanely smooth, crazy sharp, and a great carry.

Why don't I carry the Caly series more?

Re: TKJ Spyderco exclusive cruwear ????

$315 I can see why the store is called The Knife Joker. I see $335 MSRP, with a $217.75 MAP price. Nice shade of forest green G-10, which I think looks great with the DLC. Nonetheless, I will pass on it. Don't like DLC that much, and I've got the Crucarta Shaman. https://theknifejoker.com/product/s...

I'd love to see this come back in Micarta - either polished, like the original, or left textured.
