"Knife enthusiast" is a better term IMO than "knife collector" for someone (like many of us) who has many knives and uses/carries them often. Having many knives and not using/carrying them... that's a collector.

My favorites knives are the ones I have in my pocket most... my least favorites see ...

Latest Spyderco Racing Green ZDP Dragonfly

Interesting. After getting the DF I really liked the style and blade shape. I was looking for something bigger and the Caly Series started speaking to me. Very similar style and I don't think I can go to easily without a ...

I feel like something amazing is being wasted, sort of like a thoroughbred race horse who spends his whole life in the stable and is never allowed to run free. When I see a vintage muscle car with 20 miles on the odometer, I instantly think about the life that car has been denied, but at the same ...

The Inuit show it is possible, they adapted out of necessity. Some fruit or veggies here an there to go with the fat and meat is nice though.

Meat does not just mean muscles though, one must eat head to tail and savor the squeal too, as offal is where it's at for vitamins and minerals.

Ahh, when ...

It may happen. Benchmade has this for their Griptillian. I was actually just thinking about posting a thread like this yesterday lol. But logically it doesn't seem feasible until production costs decrease and demand for customs increase (which both seem likely in the future imo)

Your body will certainly do what it must to survive but the sheer amount of protein and lack of fiber would make it very uncomfortable in the bathroom. There are also very little vitamins and minerals in meat, so I would never recommend it even though it is possible.

Why you, guys didn't contact your dealers?
About a month after I bought my Caly3 I noticed some discoloration on the blade, close to the tip. No big deal, but better without it. So I contacted my dealer and ask, if she can help, otherwise I will keep the knife. No problem, she exchange the knife ...

I wouldn't worry about any of the above issues aside from the grit. But the grit can be taken care of. Not every piece can be perfect.

Sometimes I do like that they discontinue some models. Makes them a bit more special when you have them, or more satisfying when you finally find one.
