I have seen a few charts (bar graphs) in the past that compare steels. The only problem is that they tend to be dated and do not contain steels like m390

Combine all that with the adrenaline rush and increased heart rate and panic from getting cut that badly, and a person can bleed out quick just from a cut to the arm. This is why so many places have laws limiting blade length. If you can do that much damage with a Delica, imagine what a Military wo...

The current Civilian options are Tip Up or Tip Down. It's Right Hand only. I was wondering if this was the case. The Spyderco catalog shows tip-down only but the OpFocus catalog shows tip-up/down. Thank you for the clarification. My brother really wants this knife but he is a tip-up only kind of gu...

Civilian carry options
I did a few searches and i found some dated info, but nothing that appears to be current. Does the current production civilian have carry options or is it tip down only?
Thanks,

Hi Sal, I find lock backs (front, mid... Whatever) put more friction on the blade while opening making it tougher (or less smooth?) Frame, liner, comp or ball all have better feel, for me anyway. Nothing wrong with them, just my least favorite (by a good margin) Ken I agree 100%. I own quite a few ...

Hi Judas and Oneunder, Welcome to the Spyderco forum. Pricing is a very complicated issue when dealing with different makers in different countries with different currency valuations. Further complicated by our own US factory. Margins at Spyderco are pretty fixed. Variations occur for different rea...

I just bought a Navaja and i'm not sure i see what you are describing. I measured mine and it is about 25 degrees (give or take) on each side. To the OP, do you know what kind of angle your Navaja has? I suppose this might be to much since it would make it difficult to sharpen on the sharpmaker. I h...

Pricing is a big debate on these forums it seems. Regardless of all that I'm going to bet that Spyderco can afford to sell the Para 2 at it's price point because they make so many of them. Do you mean the pricing on the sage or on all spyderco knives? There are a few other Spydercos that do seem a ...

Sage pricing
I was looking at the Sage line and i am curious about their pricing. They all seems to be a bit on the high side compared to the rest of the Spyderco lineup. The only reason i could think of is to help donate to the National Alzheimer's Association. The Sage 2 and 4 i suppose i can understand due to...

The PM2 is my favorite of all Spydercos. The compression lock is also very nice! It is the smoothest and quickest deploying Spyderco that i have. One thing i have noticed is that the ball detent on liner and compression locks can be very difficult to initially overcome if there is alot of pressure c...
