I agree, a fantastic value. I work in a warehouse and I'm constantly cutting stretch-film (some call it shrink-wrap,) taped and corrugated cartons. I have the CE version and it performs the job I need it to do. My only complaint with the knife is the finger choil. The protruding "Nub" just before ...

Black Nishijin Cricket

I'm thinking about picking one up. Can anyone tell/show me how much, if any, the overlay thickens the handle. The thought process is to remove the clip and carry it as a pocket knife. The current SS Cricket is too thin for me to open one handed without bracing a finger against the clip for leverage ...

Well, if I worked in an office, I'd carry the same knife I carry when on campus, my Benchmade (Mel Pardue) 330 Gent.

I've pretty much worn out my Titanium PE Salsa, it now has very noticeable up-and-down blade play. Love to see a new one. Just not another "S" version. Didn't care for that one at all.

Bring back the Lava? Please. I carried mine for a few years. I retired it after it developed the dreaded side-to side blade play. My two requests on a new Lava are: 1. An adjustable pivot screw, and 2. no bright handle colors.

Do we know and is it OK to ask what the dimensions are on the Air. I've been carring a Benchmade Mel Pardue 330 Gent for a few years now. It looks to be about the same size. It would be great if it is. While I like the Gent, it isn't a Spydie.

I bought one as soon as they came out. Kinda disappointed with this one. Fit and finish is as I expect from Spyderco products, however the the lock-up is very weak. When it's in the open position I can very easily push the blade forward to unlock it. There's almost no tension to the back-spring. It ...

The orange is still a few months out. We’re planning plain edge on both Sprints. The second run will be Carbon Fiber but most likely won’t come until late 2012 and will be the same number of pieces. We did update our engineering for better quality and consistency. Some changes included a blind pin ...
