Do we know and is it OK to ask what the dimensions are on the Air. I've been carring a Benchmade Mel Pardue 330 Gent for a few years now. It looks to be about the same size. It would be great if it is. While I like the Gent, it isn't a Spydie.

Isn't the Air (and its specs) in the 2012 catalog?

Thanks Wouter for doing this. It really helps to get us through the winter doldrums! Do you have a picture of the clip side of the Nilakka?
You can't display a toad in a fine restaurant like this! Why, the good folks here would go right off the feed!

My thoughts too... Look less cut out and the knife looks great.

OK, whole lot less cut out. :)

Very interesting. Thank you

As always, thanks for the great pics Wouter.

That Nilakka looks very interesting. I really wish the Air had a clip. Seems a real shame to not have one on an otherwise very attractive knife. I will probably have to pass on it for that reason.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Thanks again for the pictures Wouter. You always do a wonderful job with the descriptions and pics.

The Nilakka is a very interesting knife. I would think that the big cutout is to allow more access to the hole for opening since there's no hump on the spine. It looks like it might cause a hotspot though but it sure is a looker.

The Air doesn't have a clip because it is a gentleman's folder...and that type of knife just isn't a knife that is clipped. It is a pocket carry knife.

There are plenty of gentleman's folders with clips. The CRK Mnandi is about as gentlemanly a folder as I've ever seen. Still, it has an elegant, unobtrusive, yet completely removable clip. I know, it all comes down to personal preference, but I find a clip extremely useful, even on a nice gentleman's folder. I doubt this will stop me from buying the Air, but for me, it will limit its use.

I'm very interested to see the new dimpled scale pattern that Mr. Schempp mentioned in January.

Yeah, this one does nothing for me. Interesting design, but I'll take the Boker/Luc Burnley folding Kwaiken collab of this anyday.

Agreed, the Nilakka will be great with refinement. I love the angular shape of the G10 and the subtle striations.

Exactly. Looks like a dress version of the Cento 4 … nice.

Perfect pictures Wouter. Respect for spending the whole session last sunday with Joyce in the corner just making pictures!
I see some knee-pictures of knives showing up in other threads from other forumites. I also have them but I will leave showing pictures to Wouter. He knows what can be shown and not. Beware what is said last sunday about concepts and proto's!
