So back to a question I asked long ago about work hardening H1...if the action of grinding serrations is what makes H1 serrations have such great edge retention, would the additional grinding of a regrind have the same effect?

MR only sharpens for use:

Strider/Hinderer, combo/serated edge, non ergonomic handle, blade coatings(most times- depends on desperation to get last of blade availability/If I really have to have that cool carbon Blade-WHY???), Tanto.

Did you get a feel for the weight of the Serrata?

I investment cast 440C steel and it is HTed to 57/58 C on the Rockwell scale...

I would assumethat Spyderco have and will do the same...

I have tried other steel, and it works the best for cutting...once you have tried one, you will see what I mean...
