Id send that bad boy back to Spyderco no?

have a pressing need for a knife for the next couple weeks so gotta hold onto it.

Probably was just expecting too much out of it. Not a sebbie/stryder/hinderer, but a midlevel frame lock. though I really don't see this frame lock as better than some sub ...

Is it better to keep the knife stored in the open blade position? Figuring in the closed position, the blade is pushing the integral lock further out away from the handle, possibly making the lock less prone to spring into the middle of the handle?

Probably not, I think at that point it defeats ...

also if anybody from Spyderco sees this, the biggest improvement to this knife could be with some jimping on the inside of the frame lock (to give some purchase when you push it open).

See how your lockup fares. Got mine about 1.5 months ago and the lockup was pretty early, but now is extremely late (not abused what so ever, opened and closed probably 120 times since I've gotten it.) Now I'm just worried about it becoming even looser :/

Decent knife, but definitely could be ...

Some features you'd like to see on Spydercos?

I've always thought it'd be nice if on some of their less tactical styled folders, if they made the spyderhole smaller, but beveled the edge. (So your thumb rests against an angled surface rather than a 90 degree angle when you push open).

What are yours?

Aftermarket scales?

Anybody know of any sites out there that sell an array of aftermarket scales (different materials, colors, etc) for spydies?

Or is all the custom stuff homemade?

So got the knife, love it, but it seems to open much stiffer than I had anticipated. Is this just a case of "it'll loosen up" after I use it a few days?

blade feels about twice the resistance on opening as a benchmade mini griptillian I have

Cool thanks! Figure it's a good knife that's legal carry, sturdy, and looks gentlemanly, while being lefty friendly.

Spyderco Sage Titanium questions

Did they make a titanium version with the first sage? Cheapest site I can find doesn't list "2" (for sage 2) anywhere. Wanted to make sure it was the latest run of this knife.

Also any other titanium frame locks out there with a 3" blade that are lefty friendly for the same price point? Reeves and ...
