Fro0chie, I totally get what you are saying. I have not bought a knife just because of where they lay their knife for pictures. Concrete, boards, branches, tile... :p I also don't like it when you can tell they laid that new (NIB?) knife on their un-made bed!! What the !?!

Confused on Spyderco Trademark

[CENTER]A little confused here on the signature Spyderco-round-opening-hole. Spyderco trademark(?) Patented but expired(?)(when?) What does all this mean? Spyderco has a Trademark on the "round" hole, but other/any knife company can now use this? Or do they need a different shape? Need per...

I have a frn Dragonfly2 that I can "flick" open all day long....right out of the box. I liked it so much I got a g-10 Dragonfly. It opens smooth I guess you would say. No rough spots while opening it, but v-e-r-y "un-flick-able".

How Do You Make Smooth Action Smoother

Some of my knives open so smooth, while others...not so much. What does it take to "fix, modify" a Spydie to open buttery smooth? Is it something a novice can do or do I need to let someone else do it? If so, who? I have had expensive knives not open so smooth & have had less expensive...

What is the deal with the pricing on the 308F Golden Stone? I just picked up one from an online dealer for $63.50. Up to this point, the average price I'd seen was in the $125 - $130 range, and the MSRP is $199.95. TedP They are going for about your purchase price as well at the Spyderco Store. dun...
