IIRC, Spyderco decided to stop selling serrated versions of quite a few models at about the same time they were switching to the S30V Manix 2.
I'm not sure on the specifics, but there might not be a serrated S30V Manix 2.
(All that is based on some pretty vague memories, though, so don't take it as ...

I'm a fan of the old style clips as well.
(OTOH, I also liked the exposed tang, which seemed to be pretty thoroughly reviled, so my opinion may not be worth much... :D )

When I'm picking out an EDC, one of the most important considerations is "how much fun is this knife to play with?" Back and Mid-lock knives, by virtue of being under constant spring tension, are much less interesting to mess around with than designs that allow free rotation of the blade around the ...

I can't speak directly to the Delica, but I've had two Endura Waves that have come with incredibly obtuse factory bevels. (I don't have a really good way of measuring angles, but my best guess was between 55 and 60 degrees inclusive for the bevel.) If your Delica is anywhere near that bad, you won't ...

There's a shop in downtown Frederick called Edgeworks that's decent. Prices are 20-30% higher than online (which is pretty normal for B & M stores) but they've got a pretty good selection. The guys who work there will quite happily talk about knives all day, so it's fun to visit even if you're not ...

Nest a steel liner in there somewhere, or use the framelock spring in the compression device?
I remember reading that putting Ti and steel components next to each other is a bad idea. Ti is so much softer that they tend to gall badly, especially after the Ti develops an oxide layer. That said, I ...

List of Para 2 Variants
Sorry if this has been asked before-I've searched and not found it but that may not mean much...
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has a complete list of Para 2 Variants (including ones known to be forthcoming.)
I didn't really mean to get caught up in this, but I've accidentally acquired the S90V ...

I love my Military, though I am looking forward to seeing what improvements come with the 2. The only issue I've ever had with mine was using it in the desert in Kuwait. Somehow, I got enough fine grit or sand in the lock that it got stuck open, to the point that I had to disassemble it to get it ...
