IIRC, Spyderco decided to stop selling serrated versions of quite a few models at about the same time they were switching to the S30V Manix 2.
I'm not sure on the specifics, but there might not be a serrated S30V Manix 2.

I'm a fan of the old style clips as well.

(OTOH, I also liked the exposed tang, which seemed to be pretty thoroughly reviled, so my opinion may not be worth much... :D )

I kinda miss the finer tip on the earlier models (and I say that as someone who owns an Endura 3 with a broken tip; my own stupid fault.)

Has this become technically (financially) feasible or will the Yojimbo 2 in S90V be significantly more expensive because of this innovation? ...or will they just modify the grind?

The Rock Lobster had some resemblance to a straight razor, but IIRC, it was flat ground. The Jason Breeden Rescue has a similar blade shape, and is also hollow ground, per the OP's specification.

The Rescue also has the advantage of being significantly cheaper, and still in production.

For the curious, I'm pretty sure that's a Boker clip, from their Subcom series.

There are plenty of tough folders out there, but I have yet to find one that comes anywhere close to the C95's combination of outstanding ergonomics, solid feel, and fantastic slicing ability.
