I got a Paramilitary 2 and a Sage 1, both delivered on the same day in November of 2011, while I love the Para2, the Sage is the one that bit me, and now I have lots of Spydies and a few knives made in Idaho.

Mine arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier. Couple of observations:

The blade's cutting edge, finger choil, and handle of the Chaparral follow the cutting edge, finger choil, and handle of the Sage perfectly. The blade ends a little sooner due to being shorter. The handle ends a little sooner ...

I haven't held the CF version, but in felt the SS version was too thin for me. Decided to sell it right away before I scratched it up or anything.

Wow! I didn't expect the Chaparral to be so small. It can definitely be difficult to tell size from pictures without a frame of reference. It's almost... cute. :D

Tell me about it, just found that our with the balance ss. Considerably smaller than I was expecting.

I'm really looking forward to ...

I love carrying my H1 Dragonfly with me when I go for a run. The weight and size make it a perfect companion clipped to the inside of my running shorts, and because of the H1 steel, I don't worry about the knife being ruined by my sweat.

I love mine too and feel the exact same way, about feeling eager to use my knife because I know I can sharpen it to a great edge when it needs it.

Thanks Sal!

Victorinox Forschner fibrox handled knives--shouldn't cost more than $35, and they perform like knives that cost 5 times as much.

I believe they've also been given a number of "most bang for the buck" type awards from cooking magazines/reviewers.

I totally love my Victorinox Forschner 8" chef's ...

I had a caly 3 and found it pretty rough out of the box. I added a bit of oil to the pivot that first day, and for weeks after that it was super smooth. Never added another application of oil after that first night. I've since sold the knife off, but... that was the noe thing that stuck with me ...

The para2 is much more people friendly. When my wife first saw the mili she was taken a back immediately.

The mili is tip down cary only.

For edc, I prefer the para2, but the mili does come in handy every once in a while for my personal tasks.

Am I right in thinking the Leafstorm has an oval stop pin? If so you may want to try playing with that. I found my Sage 2 was sticking slightly after putting it together post cleaning once. I simply took it apart and reassembled it with slightly different bias on the pivot and that solved it. Don't ...

This worked perfectly and immediately. I don't expect it'll be a permenant fix, but it's easy enough to reapply. Thanks again for the suggestion, Rycen.

Leaf Storm Frame Lock Sticking... Suggestions?

The Leaf Storm I recently ordered was delivered yesterday and I'm really impressed with the knife. I like the size. I like the blade shape. I love the steel. But I do have one problem with it...

The frame lock will stick really bad about 30 to 40 percent of the time. What I mean is that the frame ...

My solution is to carry different knives at work, after work, and on the weekends. Although, the dragonfly is usually with me all the time, just such a great little knife. Switching after work really gives me an opportunity to cycle through all the knives a little quicker.

Thanks everyone for the info regarding the paperwork.

Ed-U-Cation for Stretch II CF??

I ordered a Stretch 2 from Amazon a few weeks ago and returned it because I thought it was used. It arrived without any paperwork from Spyderco and it had a weird oily substance on the blade near the pivot point, which I hadn't seen on my other Spyderco knives. I ordered from a different vender, for ...
