Where could I buy a replacement clip for my Manix 2?

Is there a way to buy it straight from Spyderco?

Got any pictures. so we could get an idea of how much is gone?
Not yet, I left the knife at work.
How did you break the tip? What were you doing?

ZDP-189 is not a steel for heavy abusive prying or impacts.

Your post implies you think the knife was defective by asking about the heat treat. So ...

Can I buy a new blade anywhere?

What do I do?

Is it one of the models they recalled to re heat treat?

I love my Persistance. I have since turned three people onto spyderco that now EDC a Persistance.

I chipped the M2 by opening some packaging.

It was hard plastic on a ratchet set.

I need an EDC.

So far I have carried a whole bunch of Kershaws and some spydies.

I have carried a Tenacious, a Persistance and a Manix 2.

For some reason the ones I have carried so far haven't been it for me.

The Manix 2 got dull so quickly etc etc.

I have been thinking about getting a Spyderco ...
