I was raised in Hattiesburg and hunted the Camp Shelby area over 40 years ago. I think the Stretch would be a good deer knife, especially the VG10 version if you are not really good at sharpening. The Tenacious works well also. The last deer I processed, I used a Military which can not be beat. Good ...

I carry my Military when I have a larger job in mind. I field dressed a Deer with mine this year and it took just a few minutes to finish the job and squirt the knife down with a water hose, wipe it down with a dry red rag and it was back in my pocket. The S30V is a good all around metal, I could ...

This is one of my favorites. I just gave one to a friend who had done me a favor. This new one came in as sharp as my original did a couple years ago. We used it to field dress a wild pig and with just a few sharpmaker swipes and a little Frog Lube, it was sharp as new.

I worried about my son for the entire time he was in Afghanistan. Now he tells me he is going back (US Army). I sent him a digicam DLC Military. I'm not sure if I did it for me or for him, I feel better that he has it.

I EDC my Military. There just isn't much you can't do with one. It fits my pocket well and is light. The S30V is good, holds the edge well and is easy to sharpen (on the sharpmaker). Mine is starting to show some wear on the G10 handle, but it just looks better to me.

I have had the CPM S30V Millie for several months and am pleased to say that with a regular Sharpmaker I can keep it super sharp. As big as it is, it fits just right in the pocket and hand, it has become my EDC. Well, along with my cricket.

I have a PE Cricket and it can do many/most jobs that I need to do. My wife even commented how well it worked (this is from a non-knife person). With the Sharpmaker I can keep the VG10 blade super sharp in just minutes a day. I don't know if it is better than the serrated edge, but I know it works ...

Spyderco should only make a very large folder if it can do something better than what exists now. I am a rancher and carry two knives, a cricket (just started) and a Millitary. They are practical and do almost anything I now need to do. I used to carry a Delica, but the Millie is better for what I ...

I agree with you that the Endura FFG is number 1 in the bang for the buck department. Mine fits my hand perfectly and the blade is just right. It hides in your pocket and hardly weighs anything. Mine is brown.

AJF, I have both the Saber and the FFG Delicas and I EDC the Saber grind. I use it for general ranch work and just feel better with the thicker point, as I have been known to push it a little when in a hurry. I love the FFG and I have both the Delica and the Endura. I will field dress a deer with ...

I usually carry two, my Delica and my Endura. Sometimes, I am lucky enough to actually need a third knife, like to clear brush, etc. Today my third knife was a Bark River Golok.

I don't believe you will have a problem, especially with the Delica. I carry mine tip up in my right front pocket. The Endura is almost as easy. They are so quick and easy to use, I just don't ever see going back to an old style knife.
