Yup, hate to tell ya RIA, but this one was a labor of love on Sal's part. I would highly doubt there are any "royalties" (in the black anyway) to be had from this venture.

That said, I'm sure Sal will either be along to address the issue, or more likely will contact you privately shortly.

I will actually be in for this. I have always liked the R, for it's thinness and simplicity, but the holes made it too hard to keep gunk out of for EDC. I like it, bout time they for rid of the holes. :cool:

Yup, I had one a while back and it did the same thing. The tension of the clip would pull the blade tip to that side. It was a common problem with that one.

I got this Kiwi off Ebay as shown in the first pics. Next are the in process, with the final results after that. Black Micarta. Looks better in real life, camera picks up ALL the details/scuffs. G-10 E4 with a side of SOG Powerlock for the wire ties. I'll also have a Case Sway Back Jack for later in the day at the family Christmas gathering (although the E4 will probably get used there also).

I have carried a G-10 E4 almost 4 years now and have several in reserve.

My User G-10 E4 easily. Thinned way down.

Paperwheels are my preference. Worked my way up from freehand, Sharpmaker, sandpaper/mousepad, 1"x30" belt, and several in between.
