To clarify my post above. From the photos I've seen at various retailers it appears that the standard Para 2 has Sal and Eric's logos more or less combined in front of the spyderhole. On the S90v CF Para 2 the two logos are separated by the spyderhole, (one on each side).

As I posted on Bladeforums, how's the other side of the blade marked? From the photos I've seen the CF S90v Para 2 has the logo for Sal and I believe his son on the blade. The S30v P2 only has Sal's logo. My guess is your's got a standard P2 blade installed my mistake but a photo of the other side ...

Question on the M4 Military

This question was posed on another board and I figured I'd go to the source.

Do the 500 pcs in the M4 run for Knifeworks include the collectors pieces or are they in addition to those 500? TIA

Since this is a CS exclusive, are all being sold from there?

Also, I've never pre-ordered from CS so when I make a preorder is my card instantly charged or not until the knife ships?

Thanks guys!

Since it's a CS exclusive I doubt anyone else is selling them, that's why it's an exclusive. I ...

Just ordered one! I'm a sucker for orange G-10 and love my Manix 2 with CTS HXP so adding this one was a given. Thanks to Jeff and Spyderco for another fine design.

Darn it, wish I had been able to get in on this one. Would love to try a S90v and I haven't gotten a Para 2 yet so this would have filled two niches in the collection.

The charge wasn't on my CC yesterday but it is today so I guess I'm in the first batch. For those of you who ordered and are tracking these I was put on the list 11/21/09 and paid the deposit on 3/4/10. I have NOT received an email showing that my knife has shipped but I've heard that KW doesn't ...

Until recently all versions of the Military were liner locks. There is now an all titanium frame lock version and, from what I understand, there's another in the works that will combine a titanium frame lock right side with a G-10 left side.
.

The second knife you mentioned is an exclusive run ...

I'll be getting a chance to handle one in person tomorrow. I'm expecting a very well made, perhaps even an overbuilt workhorse of a blade. Doubt I'll be disappointed. As far as the weight goes I can't honestly see that it's a deal breaker. We fought and won WWII with a 10lb rifle, I can't see being ...

Does anyone know for a fact that Benchmade doesn't have an agreement with Spyderco to use their hole? Also BoB Lum used the hole in his designs so if you make a Lum design are you copying Spyderco with the hole or Bob Lum?

Used one of mine this weekend to cut up two chickens for the BBQ including splitting the breasts lengthwise through the wishbone and keel bones and cutting the backs in half. No chipping, no edge rolling, no staining, and it would still push cut paper and shave hair when I was done. Since I've not ...

They are a subsidiary of Knifeworks which is IMO, one of the best retailers out there. Ordered my smallfly and trainer from them on 4/13 and had it in my hand on 4/16.
