Gentlemen,
I read somewhere that the Superleaf doesn't have the common metal (bronze?) bushers - I believe they're teflon; so I was wondering if that changes something about the products best used to lube the knife (blade and) pivot?
Thanks and regards
Erminio

IWB knife carry for self defense?
Gentlemen,
I'm polling some knife forums with the following question: IMO, clipping a knife into your pants pocket gives you easy access to it but gives away (to the bad guy) that you have a knife; just dropping it into your pocket conceals it but can leave it in a position difficult to access - so ...

How does the PPT compare to the Caly3? Thanks
Gentlemen,
I EDC a Caly3 CF and do like its slicing qualities, the solid lock and the overall built that gives me the feeling of a very robust knife (inside realistic expectations).
Now I ran into the PPT and I wonder how it compares to the Caly3 - does it have a more robust build and lock but less ...

Known Caly 3 CF issues?
Gentlemen, are you aware of any common know issue of the Caly 3 CF? For example, it's a backlock - strong one but I remember reading it's prone to slight blade play? Anything else?
Thanks!
Erminio

Interesting discussion - I used to believe the framelock was the safest one since my grip on the handle was keeping the frame in position, but now I wonder if twisting the knife in my hand could make my very grip to disengage the lock...I guess the best lock is no lock at all, i.e. a fixed blade ...

What would you choose as the strongest one - Caly 3 or Native?
If you were looking for the strongest and better built folder and had to choose between the Caly 3 and the Native, both CF, which one would you choose and why? Purpose would be mainly self defense but also EDC. I'm currently partial to the Native - I prefer the Caly wire clip but I am a sucker for ...

Liner lock for self defense knife?
Good evening everyone, I could use some educated advice.
I own a Sage mainly for personal defense - I like everything of the Sage but I don't know how to trust the liner lock; being not educated I wonder if it could fail on me and have the blade closing on my fingers - on the other side I see some ...

The Chicago arrived...
So I received my Chicago today from NGK (great service!) and I'm really satisfied with its quality - besides the feeling of the carbon fiber, is seems like a little Sage: perfectly centered blade, no play whatsoever, no flaws; as I said the CF is smoother than on the Sage, but the handle and blade ...

"Pocket coin" EDC suggestions?
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for an EDC fitting into the "pocket coin" of my jeans - Chicago seemed just fine but I'm reading horror stories about assembly and finish: rough thumb hole, chipped carbon fiber, misaligned blades or screws...so, would you suggest another Spyderco (in production, if possible ...

Spyderco Chicago: will it fit in a coin pocket?
Good evening,
I was wondering if the Spyderco Chicago would fit (with the clip removed) into the coin pocket of my jeans - what are the Chicago dimensions?
Thanks
Erminio
