Took a Bradley Air through airport security
I'm in Las Vegas for a guy's weekend. I put on a pair of jeans and found my Bradley Air in the pocket. Since I flew to LV that means I accidentally took it through airport security. Pretty sure this doesn't speak too well for the TSA.
BTW, I'm checking the bag on the way home.

I guess some folks feel more secure with a g10 knife but do you have any data that a FRN nested liner knife is any weaker? More often than not liners are added to increase rigidity and hardware attachment points like for clips. They do reinforce the pivot but not because they are thick. That and I ...

Spyderco Dive Knife
Looking for a dive knive and therefore looking for a Spyderco.
Options:
Aqua - out of production, hard to find.
Caspian - out of production, easier to find. Looks great for gloved hands but I don't usually wear gloves.
Pacific Salt, Atlantic Salt - I don't usually think of a folder for a dive ...

Lanyard bead source
I just bought a G-10 Manbug. For me, with my size hands, a knife this size needs a lanyard. It's just easier to hold and open with one.
Looking for a nice lanyard bead. Not into skulls or similar. Peter Atwood makes great beads (landslides) and I may just have to buy one off eBay because, as far ...

Four Gentleman's knives (only two Spyderco)
Below is a photo for comparison purposes of four knives that I would call gentleman's knives. I'm a fan of small knives and thought I would give my thoughts.

I think the answer is clearly the Delica/Endura line. FRN is a nearly ideal handle material - lightweight, grippy, and nearly indestructible. It isn't outperformed by any of the higher end materials, it's just not as cool. I love carbon fiber/G-10/Ti scales as much as anyone, but they pretty much ...

The Chokwe is just about perfect for a knife it's size. I generally prefer smaller knives so I bought a Leafstorm. IMO the design has serious problems. If you try to get a firm grip on it, you WILL cut yourself. Otherwise it's nicely built of nice materials, but it's just a bad design. Of these two ...

Spyderco Customer Service (Thumbs Up)
So yesterday I was doing some errands outside (brewing beer to be honest) when I felt a tug on my right pocket - the one with my Caly 3 in it. A few minutes later I noticed that the wire clip had broken off.
