When this thread started, I wondered what similar changes could be observed, on average, as time passed and people got further into the hobby. I'm not seeing much of a pattern. Moving the spring slightly forward worked quite well. Entire process took maybe ten minutes including fresh lube. Thanks again!

I like using a serrated Z-Cut or a coarse-edge Mule for food prep and eating. They stay sharp longer than my other kitchen knives. And I smile big when I use them!

You have to exercise some caution using the smaller sizes for titanium screws. William Henry uses some tiny ones. Easy ...

I have a lefty SS Executive (it is a super EDC) that I've owned for many years. I sure would love a Co-Pilot in SS or G-10 (with ambi clip of course).

Well, got mine today. Great knife for a right handed person, but not working out as well as I thought it would for a lefty....opening is a hassle.

Oh well....I'll guess I'll stick with my G-10 Dragonfly.

I get the larger ones at Blade every year.

I'm hoping mine will show up before Christmas. I was wondering how well it would work out as a lefty (being a member of the sinister sixth). The blue/gray looks very nice.

I did buy the Tak Fukuta ceramic blade with magnesium scales a few years later. I kept it for a number of years, and sold it to a good friend. I don't remember the ceramic edge having enough bite for some materials....too smooth perhaps.

The JD Smith is a slicer. The Chowke or Rock Lobster (a monster of a blade) would work.

I've owned (and used) this little guy for twenty years. It was my first Spyderco and still one of my favorites. And yes I still have the foil wrapper :)
