Re: Post up your Rit dye projects..
Thank you @warriorsociologist I tried it three different ways, and I still cannot make it work it seems. From within the "full editor & Preview" mode.
I see three choices. 'Insert' image, 'Insert URL', and 'Media Embed'.
I have the picture saved to the machine I am on now, as well as in my ...

Re: Favorite EDC steel
Depends.
1) Am I probably going to get wet? Magnacut
2) Am I probably going to stay dry? K390
*Honorable mention: M4 & 1095 -- I have a carbon steel slip-joint in my pocket most days.
Looks like you and I think alike! :bug-red

Re: How do YOU define "beater knife"?
"Beater knife" = a knife I'm willing to loan out to a "non knife person."
That usually means a Mora, Opinel, SAK, or sometimes a higher-value knife that's been used & abused long enough that it's got "issues."

1. Stretch 2 (K390)
2. PM2 (Crucarta)
3. PM2 (Magnacut)
...now this is where it gets tough for me, but today I'm going with:
4. Native V (Magnacut)

Re: which lines are gonna get era magnacut first?
Is there a problem with magnacut 1.0?….
And we are off…. the internet is poised abandoned magnacut 1.0 now that 2.0 is on the horizon.
I highly doubt anyone could tell the difference in normal use. Magnacut 2.0 isn’t even on the market
yet and people are already clamoring for it over the current ...

Re: Would you buy an “Emerson Wave” Endura in upgraded steel?
I gotta say -- the more I think on this, I am coming around to the idea of a LC200N "salt" version of this knife (regular saber-grind) being my preferred option. Magnacut (or SPY27) would also be outstanding.
I am still not in favor of a hollow-grind saber blade on tis particular knife, becuase if ...

Re: which lines are gonna get era magnacut first?
I'm hoping the Stretch 2 gets a release in Magnamax or the new ERA Magnacut. I love my K390 blades, but Magnamax looks to be like "stainless K390" in the same way that Magnacut approximated "stainless CruWear." There are situations in which I prefer to carry a stainless blade, so it'd be nice to do ...

I really wish we could still get the Delica Wharncliffe in K390. I have one, but I want to put another 1-2 away for "just in case."

Re: The Endura handle "hump" and why it does not bother me (pics included)
I've never minded the handle on the Endura. It does work for me. Had I never handled a Stretcch/Stretch 2, I'd be plenty satisfied with it. The Stretch's handle and blade choil are, for me personally, too much of an improvement to ever choose to carry an Endela when I have a Stretch available ...
