Hi Marcello.

Are you a member of BritishBlades? As a Euro member you would be able to make use of this forum in order to source Spyderco's within the E.U. I have seen Dodo's and Karambits for sale at reasonable prices there, as well as many other models.

Are you considering that if you do any of these mods or tamper with the ball detent, that this may mean the knife opening up at times when you wouldn't want it to. I.e. in your pocket or bag. That could turn out nasty :(

I think it looks great, its very nicely done. but dose this not now mean you have a knife with a hard use designed handle and lock with a blade that has become somewhat less hard-usable? The tip looks very thin. I would be very worried as to how much force I put it through. It would be a ...

You can carry a non locking sub 3 inch blade knife as a legal carry pocket knife, without having to give good reason. However If your going to be silly with it or carry it to clubs, pubs, bars or sporting venues you may find yourself with some explaining to do.

On the point of the Ladybug. Last ...

My most prized knife is my Ti and Spalted Maple Chinese folder by Filip (Deviantblades)
I just love the Chinese folder design and its my fave style. Hence me having the Spyderco ZDP-189 and Ti Bob Lums.

Thanks for the info guys. Deacon, I guess your right, it would make sense that the standard of the Ti would need to be higher on a frame lock than on a Liner lock.
Cool swap, I did the same but there are slight diffs btw each model and the Ti was no longer as slick with the ZDP-189 blade so I ...

What kind of Ti did they use on the Ti Bob Lum?

Hi,

Just a question. I recently got my Ti Bob Lum :D
And noticed how the Ti is very different from that on my
Chokwe or leafstorm. Its lighter in colour and feels more slick.
Anyone know if this is a different grade Ti and why they chose
to use this type on the model? I really like the darker Ti ...

I think the britleness would make them limited in use for a folder and I believe ceramic would be a major bugger to sharpen up. Dont take my word on it tho, just remember someone saying you wouldnt be able to use say a sharpmaker to sharpen it coz of its hardness.

But you get "free health care" over there, right? Can't the savings you benefit from that be parlayed into knife-spending funds? :p

I'd be happy if they were 90 dollars over here in the U.k. Then that would be about £57 for me, I think they are like £95 which is around 150 dollars! You Spyderco lovers in the U.S.A have it good. We cant even get a Spyderco knife bargin or any knife bargin on ebay. I once couldnt even buy on ebay ...

Hey,

If you are planning to use the knife for fishing, hunting ect. Did you consider any of the Salt range? Maybe the larger Pacific Salt. Large handle for lots of grip, large blade and the added benefit of it being rust proof.

H1 Superhawk for real?

Hi,

I have been thinking of getting a Superhawk for a while now however the thought of a H1 version is pretty much making me drool. Is this just an idea of what alot of ppl on here want or is it an actual consideration by sal? I would gladly wait for one as it would be more useful to me in H1, plus ...

Kitman22,

Boy, your fairly close to what I would like! If I could get a flat grind on my Pacific Salt that pretty much would do it for me. It's light, big enough, the right colour (yellow) and like you've said rust proof, swish it clean, snap it shut and away you go.

Exactly, it would be the ...

If you could create your dream Spydie.

Hi guys,

I have a number of Spyderco knives which I use and love :) . However I have been thinking if I could mix and match different elements from the vast number of Sydies to create my personal dream knife, what would I chose and for what reason.

So my dream Spyderco would combine the following ...
