I can't pick an overall favourite, I'd be a rich man if I could! My favourite Spyderco is my lovely Mini Manix. It's the perfect knife for most of my needs.

My most prized knife is my Ti and Spalted Maple Chinese folder by Filip (Deviantblades)
I just love the Chinese folder design and its my fave style. Hence me having the Spyderco ZDP-189 and Ti Bob Lums.

I'm "new" collector, I don't have so many :spyder: s to decide what is the best but I have other marks, too and if I try to make the point on the best knife (edge/weight/materials) I could say:

Plain edge:
I'm really undecided between Walker ZDP and LeafStorm S30V (but I still don't have caly zdp, and any friend of mine say I must try it before decide the best edge)

Full serrated (i don't like combo)
Maybe Delica ZDP... but I have only dragonfly serrated to compare with it.

Cheers

For me it's a tie between the first prototype of the Applegate-Fairbairn folder (made by Bill Harsey and Butch Valotton) that came from Col. Applegate's personal collection and the one-of-a-kind Mike Snody prototype of my Yojimbo design in D2 and carbon fiber.

Stay safe,

Mike

I'm a Spyderco newbie, and so am very limited there both in ownership and sentimental value ... so my favorite knife right now would have to be my Schrade Uncle Henry "Bear Paw" (the old school version, not the current "toy" of the same name). Gifted to me by a friend many years ago. Too big and heavy for regular EDC, but build quality, feel, and asthetics are stunning - and you could probably drive a ten-penny with it, closed in your hand. Just a solid solid knife.

Probably my RG Strider SmF RW-1.

But my favorite Spyderco would have to be my black SE dodo. Just because it took me so long to find, and it cuts much better than my PE dodo.

I guess is I had to I could narrow it down to three.

My Calypso SE. I consider this the crown jewel of my collection. To me it is the most beautiful knife I own. And it is one knife I will never trade away.

Police 3 SE, this knife is one of my most used and favorite knives. This was a gift from my GF and it is a knife that is constantly in my pocket.

Sprint Run Meerkat. This knife was a surprise. I couldn't decide what new Spyderco I wanted. Also for my birthday or xmas I usually just tell my GF what knives I want and she picks from the list I give her. So I always know what I am getting. This time I just gave her a price range and let her pick any knife as long as it was a Spyderco. She picked the Sprint Meerkat. A knife that I would have never picked on my own, and it is an awesome little knife. It is a great combo to carry along with my Calypso.

These three knives will never leave my collection as long as I am alive.

Mine would be my AFCK mini. It was my first nice knife that got me interested in buying even nicer knives.

In light of the approaching anniversary of 9/11, it pushes the WTC knife to the top of my list without question.

I guess it would be more appropriate to consider it the most respected and cherished :spyder: for what it represents, rather than "most prized".
