There will almost certainly be more sprints than are shown in the 2011 catalog.

It's not impossible at all. I've seen plenty of modified knives on the forums that feature sharpened spines/swedges. Usually this is performed with a belt sander but I'm sure you could diamond stones or something similar.

I don't think that it is a very useful feature to have, however.

I like S30V than VG-10. How much better is it than S30V? Well, practically speaking there's not really an advantage to having S30V over VG10. My two favorite EDCs are the Dragonfly and the Sage. So I say get both of those! You can't go wrong with whichever you choose. If you really like the sage, I ...

I have a coated Kabar fixed blade that I tried to sharpen with the sharpmaker but can't, because the blade coating is so thick that the sharpmaker doesn't touch the edge, and too much work to try to go through with the sharpmaker. I'm thinking eventually I'll attempt to sharpen it with sandpaper. I ...

Thanks, rycen. Great history lesson in pics! Does anyone know if it's possible to obtain boxes from Spyderco---to house some of those "naked Spydies" we get in trades? Thanks, Andrew Sometimes you see people on the forums offering to give away Spydie boxes. You could also try making a &qu...

Hey Jack, Did you reformat the hard drive and do a clean install or did you just upgrade and install over Windows xp? If you did it sounds like a hardware issue to me. One thing you could do is go the device manager (Start>Control Panel>Device Manager) and see if there are any yellow warning flags n...

I don't think it's a bad thing at all. People pre-order knives all of the time before the final design is unveiled. It seems like the same thing happens in any market where people have a chance to pre-purchase.

I feel like there are a lot but then again there are many variations of the Military as well, granted over a much longer period of time. There seems to be a trend for increased variety in the past few months. Colored Delicas, UKPK variants, Manix 2 sprints, etc. I like that they are mostly sprints t...

Get the Bradley Kimura. $70 or so and it is one solid flipping knife. If you really want to spend more the next step up is something like a Benchmade 51. There really aren't a whole lot of companies that make balisongs but there are a few other ones up in the $150+ price range, for instance I think ...

I say keep the clip, we have enough models with wire clips. The Delica is a workhorse of a knife and needs a 'real' clip on it :D .
