I love the Spyderhole... when opening and closing the knife, the round hole ensures a constant profile no matter what position your blade is in.
I found my thumb getting caught up in the narrow part of the Byrd hole shape, so I used some JB Weld, a Sharpie marker and some sandpaper to fashion round hole... voila!

It's my favorite go-to knife at home, has been for awhile, but I still like to carry my original Native for EDC.

Haha! Great work with the JB weld. That stuff is truly amazing. I've repaired a lot of stuff over the last few years with it. The other stuff that works good and might be easier to do this would be that industrial strength epoxy putty. My local contractor supply store sells really good stuff. I've used it to temporarily repair engine cases on motorcycles while waiting for new ones. Holds up well and is very workable for a minute or so. Sandable, drillable and tap-able once its set.
Too many Spydies to list!
