i say go for it. dodos are great little blades and theyre getting harder and harder to find. i would buy it if i had the chance. 100 bucks new is a steal. ive seen them go for more than that used on ebay.

the length of the grip is perfect. i guess it would be the depth? my knuckles extend past the blade. where on a fixed blade like the ronin, the knifes blade sticks out past my knuckles, meaning that the blade would impact before my knuckles do. with the street beat its the opposite

i guess i would consider my hands to be average. Whatever that means. My only concern is that in a self defence situation that only a portion of the blade would be making effective cuts because my fingers would get in the way. i almost picked up a street beat this weekend.the ergonomics and looks of the knife are great. The only thing is when i grasp the handle my fingers stick out alot farther than the blade. Does anyone else have this problem or do i just have large hands?
