i think the street beat is awesome.but most states are changing thier concealed weapons laws and alot of jurisdictions are putting a maximum blade length limit of 2 and a half inches on knives. I think that a smaller neck bowie version of the street beat would fill the niche for this market.plus it ...

perrin neck bowie

how awesome would it be if spyderco released a production version of the perrin neck bowie? it looks exactly like the perrin street beat and the street bowie, but it has a blade length of 2 1/2 inches and an overall length of 6 inches. i think it would make the perfect EDC fixed blade. next to the ...

i say go for it. dodos are great little blades and theyre getting harder and harder to find. i would buy it if i had the chance. 100 bucks new is a steal. ive seen them go for more than that used on ebay.

the length of the grip is perfect. i guess it would be the depth? my knuckles extend past the blade. where on a fixed blade like the ronin, the knifes blade sticks out past my knuckles, meaning that the blade would impact before my knuckles do. with the street beat its the opposite

i guess i would consider my hands to be average. Whatever that means. My only concern is that in a self defence situation that only a portion of the blade would be making effective cuts because my fingers would get in the way. I do like the deep finger choil over a guard. If i see a nice knife with ...

perrin street beat

i almost picked up a street beat this weekend.the ergonomics and looks of the knife are great. The only thing is when i grasp the handle my fingers stick out alot farther than the blade. Does anyone else have this problem or do i just have large hands?

I think it's less about rights and more about ethics....but I could be wrong...I have been in the past....Doc :D

ethics? we still have those in the u.s.? i think if more companies had ethics a certain brand name knife company wouldnt be making knifes that look almost identical to spydercos. that ...

Well I doubt if we will ever see a Ronin sprint run as MJ now works for a different knife company...but I have a Spyderco fixed blade wharnie wannabee design in mind that would certainly fill the bill....be happy to share it with the people at Spyderco if there was any interest on their part....Doc ...

i guess im lucky. or unlucky depending on how you look at it. the moment i bought my hissatsu folder my girlfriend tried to steal it from me. if you want to eliminate the problem of opening a folder try a small fixed blade. even with lots of practice opening a folder can be difficult under stress an ...

i love the activator, but the sheath is huge. i have to order the kydex one from benchmade and a spyderco g clip for iwb carry. snody is a great knife maker. i wouldnt mind seeing another spyderco/snody collaboration. a ronin with a spyder edge would be down right mean looking. but im not sure how a ...
