I agree with the previous comments. Jeff runs out of stock fast and it can take quite awhile for the next shipment to come in (i've had a manix 2 on backorder since july 17th..yeah i know). However, the prices are worth the wait and he's always quick to respond. I just wish it was clear which items ...

Looking at spydieguys history a USN endura sold for over 200..There are some on the bay for 140 now but it is still easily worth more than the millie. Value aside, I prefer the millie.

The other day I was thinking about how I usually carry my atr and cricket together because they complement eachother well(visually and in cutting tasks). That gave me the idea that what I really need is a mini-ATR! I doubt it will happen but an ATR with a 2-3 inch blade would be the perfect watch ...

I actually got my first cricket a few days ago and have carried it since. To my suprise the alarm beeped the first time I took it in to the local walmart! I did some experimenting on my way out by holding my knife over the device as I walked by. I was very excited when I got through safely. However ...

Thanks! It's much better now. It just needs to be broken in a little bit more. And I will enjoy doing that.

Adjusting Cricket Lock

I just got two awesome new ss serrated :spyder: s. The ATR and the cricket. Both are excellent designs. I have found that the frame lock on the cricket engages a little too far for my liking(about 2/3 of the blade) and it is hard and painful to disengage onehanded. I found a thread in which a guy ...

I don't want it to be a balisong! I simply want it to close the way it was meant to, by pressing the lock and giving it a slight flick then closing the blade the rest of the way with your finger(see http://www.spyderco.com/edge-u-cation/index.php?item=7 ). I did get it to loosen up a little. ha I ...

Well I think it's a bit worse than it should be but I can't say for sure not having handled another one. I didn't mean that I expect it to just swing shut when I press the lock. That blade isn't budging no matter how hard I flick it! But I can close it with a couple fingers without too much trouble ...

I wouldn't say that it is "dangerously tight". Maybe I slightly exaggerated. It's just that I like to be able to let the blade drop when I press the lock and maybe to flick it open with my finger like I can with me delica and millie. I wouldn't be as concerned but it is used so I'm not sure it will ...

Persian Too Tight

I just bought a c83 Persian and I have to say it is a beautiful knife. However it is far too tight. It is impossible to close without forcing the blade down. I have tried washing it out with wd40 and water and also lubing it with 3in1. Is there anything else I should try or should I send it in?
I'm ...
