Opening mail of course is a daily routine. Opened some boxes, computer hardware I ordered. And of course flicking and messing around with it (G10 Military) :)

Thanks for the info guys. Knife was advertised as used, in excellent condition but not modified ($80). I agree Murdoc, it looks like the person took his time and it actually feels pretty ergo in hand. Almost fooled me lol. Think I will prob return it though, and put the funds toward a like new one ...

Is this Caly 3 modified?

Took me awhile to find but just got another G10 Caly 3 in the mail. Thing is I dont remember it having the smooth recessed area on the G10, right near the spyder hole. So has this Caly 3 been modified? Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Man, looking at those pics I miss my burgundy and grey, shouldve never sold it. Least I was able to chase down a NIB black :)

One of my all time fav EDC, super light and wicked sharp.

I love how thin and light the Military is, carries that way too for such a big blade. Best slicer so far for me with FFG and of course, convenience with spydie hole. Most of all though its the ergos for me, I have medium sized hands and it is comfortable in every single grip. It is a little big for ...

Totally agree op. Though I like the higher end look of the cf/laminated caly, the g10 was my favorite user and wish I'd never sold it. Cool to know though there are more variations on the way Sal.. blue blue blue :)

None on mine at all, just received it two days ago. Perfectly centered, no play and best retention compared to my other Spydies.

My two favorites are Leatherman Charge ALX and Victorinox Swisstool Spirit. The Spirit I would pick first for quality and durability, iirc the pry bar/flat head screwdriver is even thicker than the one on the normal Swisstool. Charge TTi/ALX I love for the bit adapter. I tried most of the small ...

Only Benchmade I liked was the 710 and 707 (looking for a 705). 710 is nice but a bit large for edc, 707 is a good size. Nice knives but I liked the Spyderco alternatives better eg. Military compared to 710, spyderhole and liner lock is more natural for me than axis lock. For ergonomics and pure ...

I prefer the Military, I got two and sold my Para. Large useful blade and super comfortable handle in a slim profile. Para to me is a medium knife, not the smallest for EDC and not the biggest for larger tasks. I use my Millie for everything but like to carry something smaller for EDC like a Calypso ...

I love the Military blade as well - super pointy tip, good belly and length. Very good for say the tough plastic packaging. On a side note I just received my Sharpmaker and one slash along the side and voila :)

Exactly what I was gonna say, word for word :)

To round out the top three I would also say Caly 3. Caly and Millie to me = flagship, depending on edc size preference. Delica is the every day beat em up user.

Get a Military. It's a Spyderco staple, and I firmly believe it to be one of the best folding knives you can have for any task. It's different enough from the Delica that they shouldn't compete too hard for pocket time.

Or check out a Sage 1 as a gentlemen's folder. You can find em between $75 to ...

I live in New York City and no, not really worried.

I remember when I was younger (translation 16yo punk kid) a couple of friends and I got into a fight with another group. I was carrying an Endura and we got arrested and brought back to the precinct. The officer asked a few questions, forgot what ...

I picked up the regular Millie a week ago and LOVE it - perfect design, blade shape and handle. I liked it so much I decided to get the digi camo too. Just received it today and so far its OK, its starting to grow on me. But I dont think I will be getting another digi camo knife anytime soon. Design ...
