First - Para 3 G-10 Black/Black Blade - C223GBK
Favorite - This is tough - Probably my Para 3 Crucarta but the Native 5 is right behind it, but then there is also my other Crucartas too. Don't make me pick just one... They are all my favorite!!

I'm looking for a Spyderco knife for everyday carry—something reliable, well-balanced between compactness and performance. avis jerkmate I'm currently torn between a few models:

Paramilitary 2: A classic, great ergonomics, but is it too large for certain tasks?
Para 3: More compact ...

That Delica looks awesome. Still waiting on those CruCarta Natives, though.

Me too! I am trying to be patient for the release of the Native 5 Crucarta and the Sage 6.
I don't have unlimited funds and my wife doesn't understand why knives cost so much, so I have to be selective on what I buy ...

As others have mentioned there are soooo many models that would make a great EDC. It comes down to what you like and to do that correctly, you need to feel them in your hand. I would recommend finding a place or someone local that has many different models so you can get a good feel for each one ...

But just reading what you wrote on top of this topic, the Manix 2 is your knife but only if you do the spring modification. Jimo, this one modification makes this knife totally different and it's the size your looking for from what you said.

I am going to throw another option out for you as well.
Tenacious with M4 Blade. It is made in China, but in my opinion, the Tenacious with M4 gets overlooked sometimes.
The M4 makes it a great EDC and the size is perfect for EDC.
It is very flickable but the liner lock makes it less fidgety ...

The Manix is close to the same length but also wider than the PM2.
The Para 3 is the smallest of the ones you noted.
The Manix is probably the strongest out of all them and has the Ball Cage Lock.

I have some of each and rotate them all for EDC.

Picked one of these up from National Knives for $78. Fit and finish is just about perfect. Centered blade, excellent lockup. Old school cool with the Walker lock and satin finish. Well done Eric Glesser!

Manix Cru Carta was Finally delivered.

Manix 2 Cru Carta - Left Missouri last Tuesday and was to be delivered on Saturday but that never happened.
Updated info now shows it was back in Missouri and then left again, Going back in forth at the same location in Illinois.

Looks like the Manix 2 Cru Carta C101MPCW2 is out of stock at most places and if it is in stock it isn't on sale.
I just missed one in stock at a discounted price, so I placed it on back order with with a due date of 12/09/24.
Just curios as to how accurate these dates are?

Well I ended up ordering a Manix 2 G10 with Spy27 blade for $137 and change along with the Sharpmaker for $72. I also back ordered the Manix 2 Cru Carta for $153. These will be my first Manix 2 knives.

Cru Carta Manix 2 or a PM2 to compliment my P3 Cru Carta.
This will be the 1st year for me looking for knife deals on Black Friday.
What is everyone's favorite sites that typically have good deals for Black Friday?
