HAWKBILL MANBUG!!! I know what everyone I know is getting as gifts for the near future. Gonna buy a few for my workbag and car too.
I like your enthusiasm. Please tell me more about your use cases for specifically a hawkbill. I got a wharncliffe se and leaf se manbug amongst others. Not sure ...

Re: Why Did The Jumpers Fail?
Well thought out Wartstein. Good points. I believe that if you want to succeed with disruption or a new concept, it's better to go for it in a big way. How about a major release of a HFC collection. Exciting new knives, a few classic knives revamped in sprint, some fresh colors and exciting steels ...

Re: Why Did The Jumpers Fail?
I have the LJs in k390. I love the handle forward concept and the wider handle. It feels solid in hand, much more so than my Delica.

Hahaha thank you Razzy. Seeing my flawed logic as spread sheet makes me feel like it's not flawed at all and is actually a great business model or retirement plan.
Haha, you go, man! I just took a few minutes to try out an online drawing program, all in good spirit. For myself I ...

Re: Criteria for choosing a knife
Do I want it? -> Yes -> Do I need it? -> No -> Do I still want it? -> Yes -> Is it less than $200? -> Maybe buy it. -> Is it $120 or less? -> Buy It -> Is it on sale and disco'd? -> Buy two. -> Look at all the red and black boxes and remember my hollow justification for having to have each one ...

Re: The more I carry and use the UKPK the more I like it
Wow! The UKPK! Received mine today. In a different thread I commented that being new to Spyderco knives, I am not warming up to the finger choil concept. This was based on the Dragonfly2. On the UKPK however, the ergonomics are like magic. The knife and hand just melts together, choil included. The ...

Re: Sal—design for Roadie 2
I just got my Roadie (1) today. Cool mini pocket knife. I think the larger version will be a purchase for me, provided it won"t be too long for the 5th pocket.

Re: "My dream spyderco would be"...
Now that I own a Leafjumper, Delica, Tasman, Manbugs and a Dragonfly. I am leaning towards that my dream knife for Office/urban EDC would be a no choil Dragonfly-type, like a Lil' Leafjumper or something. It will need to fit in my 5th pocket in my jeans, which seem to be a maximum of 90 mm deep ...

Today's carry. I work in an office so the very discreet Manbug is nice in the 5th pocket.

Would like to see something completely new, so I vote for a Manbug XL (full three fingers on the handle while working it).
Or, Lil' Leafjumper.
