Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
Mine arrived today. Can't make a determination on a "sample of one," but if I could, I'd be tempted to say Spyderco has upped their game in terms of quality. This 15V Manix is centered, came sharp enough I've no need to sharpen it myself, beautiful stonewash, crisp markings, good even grind ...

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
My Manix 2 15V arrived today. This is the 4th Manix that I bought and I’m very happy the way it looks and open/close.
Here are some photos side by side with Manix 2 Maxamet that I carried in the last 6 months.
The blade developed some discoloration but I don’t care since it looks awesome. This ...

Re: Para 3 LW 15V - 3 disappointments, or unrealistic expectations?
When I purchase a knife, whether it’s in the $10-$300 range, I expect it to be perfect straight from the factory. Quality is incredibly important to me, regardless of whether the knife is going to be used heavily or kept in a collection. I’ve noticed in other threads and YouTube videos that there ...

Re: Sage 5 in REX 121 + burnt orange
I received my Sage 5 Rex 121 yesterday, and I immediately noticed something different about the edge compared to my other Spyderco knives. It seems like the edge profile is a bit unique, probably because Rex 121 is such a challenging material to grind. After reading through several comments on ...

Wallach
Here are some photos of mine so you can compare with yours
Definitely there is a problem with yours but I I’m not sure is it’s the blade or the scales

Re: Any Truck Drivers here?
I think I am going to have to abandon this project. I registered on a Truckers Forum and asked if there were any Truck divers that might be interested in helping me develop a dedicated Truckers model. A question that I have asked before on forums of specialized groups. I received 4 replies on the ...

Re: Para3 cpm 15v BBB
Such a bummer to hear everyone complaining about the action, or afraid to tinker with a pivot. I'd think buying this knife would be for the opportunity to dabble into this amazing steel. If you're not just sitting around flicking it a thousand times and just taking it out of your pocket to use it ...

Re: Para3 cpm 15v BBB
From what I’ve observed, it seems that some people received their knives in perfect condition with no issues, while others experienced problems such as lockstick and uneven bevels. I understand that these knives are assembled by humans, and occasional mistakes can happen. However, too many customers ...

Re: Para3 cpm 15v BBB
I received my Para 3 15V today, and after unboxing it, I immediately noticed two issues:
There is a slight play in the blade when moved left and right. It seems like the pivot might need tightening.
The locking mechanism seems to be faulty – it sticks almost every time I try to close the knife ...

Re: Spyderco's Rex 121 factory blade protection
It doesn't matter what Spyderco applies to the blade before shipping. What really matters is how you protect and care for the blade the moment you receive the knife. I personally use Ballistol on all my knives. In fact, I just applied some to my Rex 121 right now.
