Re: A higher end knife question for the rich kids here.
Ohhhh I forgot to mention something that I think is important. CRK is one of the few companies that encourages its customers to take apart their knives for cleaning and maintenance. There are few parts, tools are included and the process is very simple. Big plus in my book.

Re: A higher end knife question for the rich kids here.
I own quite a few folding knives, including models from CRK, Hinderer, Microtech, Spartan Blades, and a number of custom knives. Although I love Bill Harsey's designs at Spartan Blades, CRK knives are ultimately higher quality, retain their value, and offer excellent customer service.

Re: Fixed blade EDC
I, too, was looking for a small, fixed, portable knife for everyday use. It's hard to find something that's both discreet and ergonomic. So I decided to design a skeleton knife based on my favorite folding knife, Sacha Thiel's PPT. Sacha being a close friend, he agreed to transform my design into a ...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Wow, reminds me heavily of the PPT!
Is this a Perrin knife?
You're right it's a custom Large PPT. Knife made by french knifemaker Sacha Thiel who did turn the Perrin drawing into an actual knife. This model, the Large one is one of 3 ever made ;)
Very cool, I've heard/read that name ...
