Re: Cutleryshoppe Exclusive Shaman, Stonewash CTS-XHP, Orange G10
I’ve had this in the pocket pretty much every day since it arrived. I really must take my hat off for Spyderco and Cutlery Shoppe as this exclusive is a huge success! The quality of finishing on both of my copies is outstanding. The orange G10 is beautiful, I like it way more than I anticipated. The...

All gone. Grabbed 2. XHP with Spyderco’s HT is superb. Based on the composition you would think S30V would outperform it but in cut test after cut test XHP seems to punch above it’s weight. I think these will make outstanding work knives.

Re: DLT Tan 20CV Yojimbo 2
Sal and DLT, Just wanted to give my appreciation for making this one happen. Got 2, one for myself and one for my Dad. This is my first Yojimbo. They are both extremely well made, centered, with a much deeper hollow grind than I was anticipating. I think I’m in love! 20CV is a perfect steel for the ...

Re: Brown Manix 2!
This has been my favorite Manix so far. Got a couple last year during the drop. As said above it’s a distributor exclusive. They have been dropped at least twice now, and as well as they sell they will probably be done again. They make a lot more of these than the Sprint-Run models, so resale is not...

Re: Please Pardon the shameful sales pitch - Rock Jumper
Just received my Rock Jumper and it has the best action of any Seki Spyderco I have had! I do have one question, however. The knife has 2 or 3 micro-chips in the edge. Is this something anyone else has seen on their Seki knives? Thanks.

Re: How Do Your Factory Seconds Look?
My 3 PM2 in Camo are all really good, only 1 has an obvious flaw as it’s just a bit shorter at the tip than it’s supposed to be. The other 2 are more or less perfect. They had marks on the G10 but they wiped off. They are going to be great users with Spyderco’s excellent HT on S30V and I am over the...

Re: End of 2020 Opinions on VG-10
VG-10 ha been an excellent steel for us for more than 2 decades. We've sold millions of knives with this steel with no complaints. It is very unique in it's balance of blade steel properties. sal VG-10 is absolutely good to go. I believe the group of steels VG-10 belongs to (154CM/N690/ATS-34) is a...

Re: Z-Wear Shaman: availability discussion & lookout thread
I am super excited for this one. I have an S90V Shaman that was reground/denub that has literally become my favorite knife. With the super thin geometry and great heat treated S90V it cuts forever. I am sure the Z-Wear could be taken even thinner! If I manage to get one we will see. Thanks Sal for m...

Re: 2020 Seconds Sale - SOLD OUT!
Thanks for doing this, It was par-for-the-course as far as online sales for high-demand products go in 2020. I am sure you did everything you could to prepare in the limited time you had. I missed out on 2 or 3 orders right at the CC entry step, but that's how it goes sometimes. I am happy I did tra...

Re: 2020 Seconds Sale - BREAKING NEWS
Just for clarification does that mean its done for the day, or the whole sale is over? https://twitter.com/SpydercoKnives/status/1335022964471840769 Looks like that's a wrap. Congratulations to all those that got something! I was looking for a Yojimbo and missed out yesterday and today, but I did g...

Re: 2020 Seconds Sale - BREAKING NEWS
I know a lot of folks are looking for knives in exotic steels but don't sleep on the regular-production S30v stuff if you are looking to get something to use. $53 for a Para 2 for a user is unreal, not to mention the pricing on the Black Manix 2! Keep a 600 grit edge on that S30v and it will cut for...

Re: 2020 Seconds Sale - BREAKING NEWS
This has been a great sale so far! Site issues are a norm in 2020 and are to be expected. Bots unfortunately make it harder for legitimate customers like us to shop. I think our friends at Spyderco are doing their best. Got a few PM2 camo and 2 Para 3 Maxamet so far. Trying to get the Maxamet PM2 an...
