Re: Shaman Z-Wear news?

Nobody outside of the Spyderco factory and management team know when any knife will start shipping. Even the Spyderco Factory Outlet store employees don’t know. https://res.cloudinary.com/teepublic/image/private/s--NzCDQrsz--/t_Resized%20Artwork/c_fit,g_north_west,h_1054,w_1054/co_ffffff,e_outline:...

Re: Your Personal Collection?

Mostly Delica 4, then PM2, then Stretch 1&2. A couple each: Native 5, UKPK, Sage 5, and Chaparral. A bunch of fixed blades but not all Spyderco. I did grab a Shaman Crucarta but it didn't win me over so going to let that one go sometime in the near future and passed on the Shaman Rex 45 (so far this...

Re: Making G10 Scales Smooth like Bombshell Scales

Lovin' it on Spyderco fixed blades. I do have a smooth G10 PM2 Cruwear and never had to compete with the masses to get it. You would expect a different outcome for the super-popular (PM2) combined with the super-popular (Cruwear). May be best to stick to texture with slabs and smooth with 3D handles...

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

KnifeCenter has the stepped titanium Chaparral on sale for $180. If it was the blue version, I'd be all over it. https://www.knifecenter.com/item/SP152STIP/spyderco-c152stip-chaparral-folding-knife-cts-xhp-blade-stepped-titanium-handles Thanks for the heads up on this one. I didn't need another cha...

Re: Affordable fixed blade (AFK)

I can’t believe nobody mentioned the Enuff yet. I propose we consider what the AFK would look like if we used the Enuff as the basis for the first iteration. https://cdn.brandfolder.io/YLOLU61B/as/ja6jlqg5/FB31PBK_Both.png?width=800 The Enuff is really, really close to being the perfect all-rounder...

Re: Affordable fixed blade (AFK)

Spyderco still needs to find their home run model with fixed blade knives!!! This would be one that appeals to the masses. One you will find in hunting camps, outdoorsman backpacks, recreational camper camps, tackle boxes, RV's, around the home and at the job. Not a specialized small niche model. It...

Re: Cruwear micarta Bushcraft/Proficient

This happens to be my project and has been since the original "Bushcraft", That UK Ken asked us to make. Then the "Proficient", which was the result of Forumites asking for a more Modern version than Spalted Maple or G-10 with O1, but with Chris Claycomb's excellent handle design. So we made the Pr...

Re: Cruwear micarta Bushcraft/Proficient

I brief moment of pain and years of satisfaction is a small price to pay. I did just that with the Bushcraft and have never regretted it. I would like to see this as something other than another version of the proficient in micarta & cruwear. Wondering how the balance of the knife will change with a...

Ditto... I'm recently new to HAP 40 and a long time user of Delica. HAP40 Delica easily rocks the VG10 Delica.

Re: What’s Your Favorite Underrated Sleeper Knife?

I've been thinking of the thread that asked about Spydercos that grew on you and those that faded. Think this is along the same lines. I want to give a shout out for a recent Spyderco awakening. I like fixed blades, and Spydercos are the ones I like most among those I have, which are BRKT, Casstrom,...
