Burr?

I sharpened my Xancudo in S35VN but there is a reflective line on the edge. I did everything I could to remove all the burr and the edge feels smooth and cuts well but I can’t tell what it is.

Do you have a magnifying loupe? I think that is what you need to see the burr. You can get a good one from Amazon. They are not expensive.

try running your fingernail or a q tip from the spine towards the edge and off the apex. If either catches it's a bur.

Sometimes with the naked eye its tough to tell a bur from microbevel. If you were sharpening free hand you may have done a stroke or two at a more obtuse angle on that side.

Another good way to check for a burr is to strop with some compound. The burr will pick up the compound, which will show where the burr is and where it isn’t.

I sharpened on the KME only because the grind was wonky from the factory and I don’t trust myself to even that out freehand yet. I can’t feel anything with my fingernail like a burr, it’s smooth. But I don’t see anything reflected on the other side

Is it possible that you didn't totally apex it? it might explain the smoothness and "stubbornness"

You can try the sharpie trick too to see if you're removing all the old material. I've seen some factory edges that have high and low spots in the edge. My cold steel SRK was that way at the tip.
