Match made in heaven - K390 Lil Temperance 3 and K390 Leafjumper

I bought the K390 Lil Temperance 3 and K390 Leafjumper recently after reading about the handle forward design and Sal's comments here on couple different older threads. I am blown away at how good these two knives are to hold, carry and use. I may have have found my ultimate knives with these two.

I have a lot of Dragonfly knives in various steels, a good collection of Native 5s in several steels including the 15V LW and my favorite Fluted CF S90V, 15V Shaman, 15V PM3 LW and Lil' native and a couple Delicas and Sage 5s. But there is something really magical about the handle shape of the Leafjumper and Lil Temperance3 and I can't quite put in words other than than say it feels really natural. So much so that I have been reaching out for these two way more often than anything else in the last month. I cannot believe that the Leafjumper did not sell well enough.

Very nice! I have both of these, but couldn’t spring for the K390. Even in VG-10 they perform great, and of course the handles are identical anyway!

I agree that they are very comfortable to use, especially the Lil Temperance. It feels as good as a fixed blade knife handle!👍🏻

Enjoy your knives! I’m definitely liking mine!😁

I have the SE K390 LJ variant on my person right now. Fantastic knife, underrated.

I would carry my K390 LT3 more but it has a weak detent and combined with the weight of the blade, it opens a little easier than I’d like. I plan to do some work on it and remedy that.

Just got mine in the mail the other day.

Been carrying a Stretch 2 for a couple years and I think I'm going to like the jumper a bit more for every day activities.

Already think I'll have to grab another in PE.

I have both of those, the LJ is serrated. Definitely two of my favorites!

The Lil Temperance 3 is a beast when used as a utility knife .. it cuts like crazy and the steel retains a great working edge. Such a good knife for use in the house and the garage. I also did not think I would like the LeafJumper more than the Delica but I really do like it better and I am so glad I got one. If not for me wanting a bit of variety in what I keep on me ... these two knives are all I really need. But then, if we only bought knives for utility .. we'd be normal people :zany

I have a stretch 2 as well and it's always felt big for me. LJ size is perfection.

I picked up a K390 LeafJumper soon after the announcement they were being discontinued. I was also blown away by the ergos, it just fits my hand so well, and I’ve ended up carrying it more often than my K390 Delica. I’ve since grabbed another LJ in SE because the form factor is so good.

Always admired the LT3 but haven’t picked one up yet, seeing your side by side pic makes me think I should…

The blade stock is thick on the LT3 .. but man that grind is amazing and the thing just eats cardboard. Get one and you won't regret it. The taller handles fits the hand so well. Best utility knife I have ever had.

The Stetch always felt good for me but I love how the LJ doesn't feel any smaller even though it is. The handle is perfect, and I don't miss the choil at all. Especially with the handle forward design. Just great.
