After market scales corrosion resistance
Been using my Manix salt lately and always like the look of the aftermarket scales, do these provide any corrosion resistance? I don’t know how titanium would hold up.

Titanium would be fine
Re: After market scales corrosion resistance
There's already a member of the Salt family with titanium scales. The Spidiechef.

Re: After market scales corrosion resistance
Spidiechef. get it. Aftermarket titanium scales for the Manix 2 Salt provide corrosion resistance comparable to the stock FRN scales, making them an excellent choice for marine or humid environments. They’re highly resistant to saltwater and sweat, with the added benefits of a premium aesthetic and durability, though they increase weight and may require occasional cleaning to maintain their look. For your use case, titanium scales should hold up exceptionally well, complementing the corrosion-resistant LC200N blade of the Manix 2 Salt. Check vendors like Flytanium, Rockscale Design, or Applied Weapons Tech for compatible options, and verify fitment for your specific model.
Re: After market scales corrosion resistance
Nobody makes titanium scales for the Manix 2 lightweight. Not Rockscale, Flytanium or AWT. They say they might if there is enough interest. Your best bet is Original Goat. Let us know if you find any!

I got a set from AWT for my Manix 2 lightweight that had the yellow frcp scales and the MagnaCut steel. These are the burnt bronze cerakote aluminum and I got mine in the option of the aggressive texture.
These things are freaking awesome imo. His a pic of the Manix 2XL and the smaller Manix 2 lightweight, both with AWT scales. The original texture on the Manix 2XL and the aggressive texture on the smaller Manix 2 lightweight.
