What Spyderco is this?

#1

Post by Doc Dan »

I spotted a Spyderco in an episode of Monk. It has a very pointed tip. I thought it was a stainless Gen 2 Delica, but I'm not sure. About 6:43/6:44 .

What do you all think?

Hey Doc,

I don't think the video link came through.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Thanks. Eye sight isn't as good as it used to be.

My favorite Spyderco! It's made an appearance in a few movies. One with Bridgette Fonda and Harvey Keitel, I can't remember the name offhand but it was a good one. Back in the 90s. La Femme Nikita?

That is a sad fact. They say these are our "golden years." It seems more like rust, to me.

Hi Doc,

On the "Golden Years", the "G" is silent.

I definitely agree it's a Police given those screen grabs. The multi-grind blade is a dead giveaway.
