Sculpted scale identification needed

#1

Post by 65north »

First post. I'm trying to find out if the scales in the photo below are factory sprint run scales or aftermarket? If this has been asked before my apologies in advance. A search of the forum did not give any usable results. Thanks

What I do know is that the coated Cruwear lil native was a knife joker exclusive and originally came with forest green G10 scales.

The coated Cruwear Lil Native has been released as 2 dealer exclusives. Knifecenter exclusive with smooth black G10 scales. Knife Joker exclusive with dark green peel ply G10 scales

I would say that the scales on your Lil Native are definitely, without doubt, aftermarket.

Thanks everyone for your information, it's been most helpful. I found out through a FB post that these are indeed custom scales from Germany. I'm not sure if they still made these but will update if they do. Thanks again,

Mystery solved. I heard back from a FB posting that they are aftermarket from a German company, called Custom Scale Division and the specific scales are "carbon fibre dark matter blue flecks". Thanks everyone for your help!

I have a Para 3 LW S90V with similar “carved” looking titanium scales. They are very well done with some milling on the back of the scale to reduce weight. I bought the knife as is with the box but no scale id info. I have no idea where they came from or who made them. I’d love to know where they were made.
