More Ceramic Super Knives. Please
Imagine a ceramic Endura, Military, Pacific Salt that bends and never shatters but is diamond hard. SPYDERCO can do it. :)
Re: More Ceramic Super Knives. Please
I am not buying unless it is also capable or cutting through space and time.
Re: More Ceramic Super Knives. Please
Yeah they can probably do it when the technology exists, but we will all be fossils by then.

Yes bending ceramic is going to be tricky and it still be hard enough to hold an edge...

Pete from Cedric and Ada tested one a knife with this type of technology and it was extremely impressive.
They are available and decently cheap, shipping is a little crazy from Europe, but I may get one just for the heck of it.

That was interesting and I did see in the video, he flex the blade. Some tricky stuff no doubt. Now what would be interesting to know here is what he uses to hone it back, and how long it takes to get it there...

Thank you for that video Red Leader! This is very encouraging to know these materials are being worked on. One of many points I learned from sal and Larrin and all of you on this forum is that ease of sharpening and fracture toughness are as important as edge holding and rust resistance.
