Did the Dyad get released again? The description didn’t really say. Maybe new-old stock?

My guess old stock , I have original and the gray sprint . I would be shocked if the Dyad wasn’t first released at Golden store MG2

Thats the 2013 sprint run - must be new old stock. Always fun to find new old stock knives like that.

American Edge knives also sells used or old new. I don’t know where they come from. But it’s cool to see a new old piece.

The two Micro-Dyads (C112). The smaller FRN models are the Dyad Jr. (C39).

I have Micarta and FRN Jr's too. I'm not a "loose in your pocket" kind of guy but if I were going to carry a knife that way, it would most likely be the FRN Dyad. Having two knives in such a small package in an amazing advantage that our grandfathers all understood.

I agree the FRN is a bit larger than the C39 and works well in pocket if there is a need . I gifted this one to a Forum member so he can discretely carry at his workplace. Dan

I found both of mine at a local shop that's gone now, first found the Micarta that's heavily used and the plain edge blade has been sharpened so much the tip doesn't close into the handle anymore, then sometime later they had a very mint but used FRN model that I considered cannibalizing for a blade swap into the Micarta version but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Not sure how I'd do the Micarta anyway since it's all pinned.

I have both the Micarta and FRN versions. The blades would not interchange even if you did take them apart.

The Micarta Jr. version is my Holy Grail. I had to sell mine in a pinch and it's been impossible to find a replacement.

I would love to see Sprint Runs of the Micarta Dyad Jr. and the Original C-44 with a facelift and newer blade.

I love this design. I’ve been hoping for a salt Dyad since I first saw it.
