Anyone see the last episode (4)?

Did the mother superior have a Spyderco knife? It was hard to see as she was holding it down, by her side.

Pretty sure I saw the spydie hole in the blade, when she flipped it open.

Anyone else?

I noticed also. But, I was just for second or two. Subsequent frames showed a different
Type of knife?

I haven’t kept current with that show. It just seemed too dull.

The opening hole was rather comet-shaped, so my guess is: trying to stay ahead of the incoming tariff wars, Spyderco has decided to move production of the Byrd line on Wallach IX.

Sal might have to stop by House Corrino first, and get the okay.

I think Sal is way ahead of us in this game. After all, he did decide a couple of decades ago to include the planet of origin on the blade stamp. Coincidence? Methinks not.

I finally found a picture of the knife, not a Spyderco.

That's what I was trying to figure out, the body/frame is skeletonized.

Exactly. Like yourself and other knife users and collectors I always zero in on that, too. Do you think some movie snd theatrical prop departments may purchase various folders and fixed blades and then alter them, say switch out handles and alter the blades, using machine grinders and other tools?

I saw one action movie where the two special forces guys had a knife fight and one looked like a Cold Steel SRK but I couldn't be for sure because their movements were so fast.

I’ve enjoyed the show quite a bit and multiple sisters are carrying those knives. Looks like a Byrd, Persian, Paraframe, and friction folder combined their genetics. It’s a pretty sweet piece; of course I want one.

It is probably something the prop guy ran to the local gas station and bought in a hurry for the scene.

I think they contracted it out, all of the sisters carry one. I think there was a scene, in which they were training with them.

Who knows, maybe they're filming in Texas, and the prop guy ran over to the closest Buc-ee's? 😆

People are saying that it's a Cara Cara blade, put on some other frame. Guess it's for that Sci-fi look.

MK and others, as fellow Dune viewers if you were to speculate, how do they manufacture goods like factory produced items [ guns, knives, clothing, shoes, various devices, etc] in the Dune universe without computer systems? Some have said they may have advanced versions of our old pre 1970s automated assembly lines with human workers that use dedicated circuits and data cards. Obviously they can have armies of humans hand making things. Some have shown it is possible to have non AI based nano replicator 3d printers that use optical light and audio based switches in liquid to control micro assembly arms.

Their main ban is on Thinking Machines. Data and R2D2 and C3PO would all be enemies there.
