Spydie's as cigar cutters
Spydie's as cigar cutters
I really love to cut a fine hand rolled cigar with an equally fine spyderco knife. As I sit here I used my new Dodo to cut a Bolivar Fuerte. Most enjoyable. (Man I really need to get a life) What Spydie would you use?

I used the Copilot (recently) <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> to cut the tip of a cigar. Not much of a cigar to be found here, this ones are named "Black Stone", but they taste good (cherry) <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
Besides, I'm not a smoker (maybe one at two - three months... or less) <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

tell me what method you use to cut. Maybe my cigars are just cheapo's, or I'm not doing it right. I've tried cutting the perimeter first, then progressively in....makes a huge mess. I've also tried straight cuts, back and forth motion....also quite a mess. - goofs-up the tip, unravels, etc.
Maybe I should just pierce a hole in the end with a twisting motion?
Help
good topic btw
