Question about Spyderco seller Cutlery Shoppe

#1

Post by SpydieFan777 »

...the one in Meridian, Idaho.

Are they a Spyderco AD? (you'd think they would be, since they appear to have the entire Spyderco catalog available for sale on their site! lol)

I tried using the Dealer Locator feature on Spyderco's website and searched for Boise, ID but they didn't come up in the results. What gives?

Thank you gents for the responses.

Then I guess...the Spyderco website Dealer Locator either gives results that are not complete, or doesn't work properly?? I searched for both Meridian and Boise Idaho and Cutlery Shoppe did not show up in the results.

Anyhow, I have a black PM2 SALT w/Magnacut showing up today from there! Looking forward to it.

They have been around for a long time and are 100% legit. They have commissioned a bunch of great exclusives over the years as well. Definitely a go to seller for many around here.

The Dealer Locator List needs an address for a dealer to be on the list. Some dealers don't have a physical store front and don't provide an address.

If this is the site you purchased from, you're good to go... https://cutleryshoppe.com

Cutlery Shoppe as everyone has said is a great dealer. You are probably seeing all the models listed, but when you click on them, there is no add to cart button. Just a notify me. I've noticed some dealer sites are like this. just when you see the main list for a brand, there is no way of seeing if it is in stock without clicking through.

Your question is already thoroughly answered so I can only endorse what’s already said.
Being an international customer I’ve had to request some “special” treatment at times and Jeff has made my experience a very pleasant one. Highly recommended!

Thank you. This answers my question about the Dealer Locator. And yes, that's the site I purchased from. :)

Btw, an interesting (to me) note about my purchase: I placed the order last weekend from Cutlery Shoppe. Also placed a different order with DLT Trading. The DLT Trading order shipped Monday and was coming from Wisconsin (to Pennsylvania) via Fedex 2-day. My Cutlery Shoppe order shipped free with USPS Pri Mail from Idaho, also on Monday, and beat the Fedex shipment to my home by several hours! (I have NEVER had a USPS order be that fast, ever)
