Spyderco’s superlative Customer Service

Every time I’ve called Spyderco Customer Service, they’ve been courteous, prompt, and extremely helpful. On a couple of occasions, they’ve really outdone themselves. This morning was one of those occasions. I made an online purchase that appeared to have an error in my favor. I figured Spyderco would catch it and make the adjustment to my order total prior to shipping. I decided to call and speed up the process by bringing it to Spyderco’s attention and so that if the same mistake occurred on other’s orders, it would not cause issues. Customer Service quickly determined there was a glitche that provided me a discount that should not have occurred. They appreciated it being brought to their attention, but said they’d leave the discount on my order. That was exceptionally generous on Spyderco’s part. Sal, thank you for the wonderful company you run and thank you to all the other great staff.

I had a to deal with a real fiasco regarding shipping a Mule blade a few months ago. One of my orders really got messed at the Outlet and they shipped the wrong items a couple time. Spyderco CS finally fixed the order and sent me all sorts of nice swag including a hat, a bunch of stickers, handkerchief, catalogues and a free Bolteron Mule sheath. Spyderco CS is top notch.

I will always say it, best customer service in the business. I spoke to one who great up a few towns over from where I did in Massachusetts, pretty cool.
