Re: 2023 Official Discontinued List
The only shocker here is the Siren. There are several others I would drop just to keep the Siren. Hopefully it comes back in another steel.

I agree, surprised to see the Siren discontinued after just receiving a sprint run. I will add that seeing the SpyderEdge Caribbeans on there is also surprising to me.
And as unreasonable as it would be for me to own, I’ve always wanted one of the full Spyderco acrylic display cases.
Seems like a lot of serrated models getting discontinued too.

Time to stock up on Aqua Salts. Surprised the Siren is on that list. I'll definitely pick up another salt version if it gets discounted.

Hoping to see the Caribbean come back updated with MagnaCut and different scales but I guess all good things come to an end.

Wellllllllll
Great for those who want PE I guess. It's a great knife all the same.

Re: 2023 Official Discontinued List
Same for the Siren, especially after the big CQI really improving this knife !
I better get my hands on it, or maybe we'll see it again with another steel than S90V ?
Models that sell well and stay a while get the CF S90V treatment, so maybe not everything is lost :)

I'm guessing they'll relaunch it in magnacut. seems odd to drop the base version while the cf/s90v version gets made.Ramonade wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 4:50 pmSame for the Siren, especially after the big CQI really improving this knife !

Re: 2023 Official Discontinued List
I too can see the Siren might just be replaced by a "2". It would be surprising to go through all that CQI work to be discontinued the same year.
Re: 2023 Official Discontinued List
I bought a Siren two weeks ago. It's a good design made with top notch quality. Hopefully it will make a comeback in the future.
Re: 2023 Official Discontinued List
Welp, end of zdp189 - only way to get that steel now is kitchen cutlery, or in an expensive rockstead/William Henry
Re: 2023 Official Discontinued List
Noob question here. Is there any rhyme or reason to when/where these discontinued knives go on sale? I happily picked up a Serrata last year at a "discontinued" price. Great knife by the way.
Re: 2023 Official Discontinued List
Crisis averted (for now) - actually surprised that one's kicking to be honest
Re: 2023 Official Discontinued List
Monterey Bay Knives have a few different <$250 models in zdp189.

I’m surprised with the siren but hopeful it will return in Magnacut.
