Depends how you define better, I guess. Techno 2 has a thinner blade stock and standoffs instead of the G10 backspacer.

Also, I personally prefer the blade shape of the Techno 2 over the Techno.

I voted yes, you should get Techno 2. :cheap-sunglasses

It's small, weird, heavy for its size for EDC, tank-like built, has one of the best blade finishes in a knife, and made of titanium. What's not to like? I say, get one!!!

I couldn't vote because there is no "maybe" choice. I looked at the Techno 1 and 2. I ended up buying a Lil Native, instead. True, the LN is not Ti, but the design is better for me and it is still a little tank of a knife. It certainly cuts better.

I have the same question. I sold my Techno 1 a while back and have been wanting to check out the 2 since it's release. Sooner state has these available for like 215 if you've been hesitant because of the 265 price tag.

If the goal is a tank, the first one the OP already has is definitely the "tankiest" of the two :winking-tongue

Yes, you should get one.

Better is subjective. I would say that the Techno 2 it is a more refined iteration of his design.

Full disclosure, I like his designs and I like titanium frame locks, so it's difficult for me to be impartial.

Both were too chunky for little knives to me, but if I had to choose between the two I’d go for the Techno 2.

I just remembered that you already have a Lil Native, so get the T2. Cool little knife.

Nope...too expensive for what you get, imo.

Ti frame lock...you know where to go for those! I highly doubt the quality would be any better than what you had, with likely a much thicker grind.

I voted no because I’ve asked myself the same question several times, and the answer has always been, “No.”

I still say yes you should get one. Here's mine next to a full size Inkosi and the first version Techno.

Also just took a couple quick comparison shots but with the Lil Native. Might as well show those too.
